Any Idea about the cutoff pcentile for HR ?
Mine is 96.95 and I am in.

I know there will be hundreds of clarifications from all u guys 😃 - but just stay put for some time 😉 - I will get back on the exact percentile cutoff (of course I know u guys wud be smart enough to figure out the same too)...
Last year the cutoff was 94 percentile for PGP-HR, with sectionals going as low as 80 percentile (or some even lower I guess - varying with the workex)... I just came in the room to find the results, so it will take me time to come out with the cut-offs etc..
About the GD/PI stuff - take a chill pill - U have a long time to go - I know its in March 2nd week tentatively - so enjoy ureselves over the weekend - be prepared for a long race of preparation from next week onwards :)

Total no of seats this year are 60 - the seats for PGPM have been increased from 180 last year to 240 - for HR the count sticks to 60 seats...

1.wht are the different test in the second stage of the selection process
2.waht is the last last waiting list that cleared for the admission
3.what is the weightge given to the different component(cat score, work ex, acads etc)
4.what is avg. salary for this year

last yr GD?PI thread wud give u a good insight on last years process...which was a group task( u have to make things out of pages, matches, rubber, pencil etc) nd interview
last yr waitlist gt cleared till around 76
CAT score is given arnd 60% weightage..though a good interview can compensate for low score...( m the lowest in class.. 94.23%ile...fresher)
placements for seniors have not begun yet....but it will be good enuf...many ppl already got PPOs ad have landed up in good companies during lateral placements too

Placement will be rocking,no doubt about that......u can see the last years avg n highest salary n an expect a min 20% hike dis year(general trend)...
You should check out salary figures of other BSchools famous for HR n take the decision whether to join MDI or not.....:D
P.S : We already took the decision n it is right one..

Seniors, here is a question. The admission process for PGP-HR mentions a simulation exercise along with the GD. Could you please elaborate on that?
The break-up w.r.t weightages for the final admit could also be dwelt upon.

Good acads does matter..also along with that ,what matters most is the reputation of the institute u finished ur graduation..
