Me:which day of this week
Clerk: anyday till sat
Me: Earlier u said, if the results will not be declared on friday, then surely they ll be out on monday. now again there' s a delay.
Clerk: yeh, delay to ho raha hai. dekho shayad aaj hi nikal de....site check karte rahiye
( i don know if he 's foolin ppl or wat)

Finally i cudn't take it longer as i have my imt counselling on thursday and i haven't booked tickets for it till now as i was waitin for mdi..
I called mdi just now:
me: MDI??
person: yes
me:will the result come by today or tomm?(i thot of askin for 2 days only)
person: no
me: so when can we expect?
person: donno, call back again later to ask for tht(i guess he meant call after 2-3 days)
me: is it sure tht results won't come today or tomm?(i have to book air tickets of wed so was just being sure)
person: yes, very sure..
me:thanks...
so i guess it is quite evident they are waitin for iim result.. the only gud explanation cud be tht they want to cross chk who all of their selected candidates got iims.. god know how will they do it.. its insane to chk each of their cat reg nos on all iims.. but i cudn't think of any other logical explanation for the delay.
this is a double blow for guys like me, who just have imt and mdi and now with low imt rank i won't get a seat as ppl above me who cud have got iim or mdi will take up the seats and also mdi isn't out so if i get mdi later i will have to waste my money on blocking imt seat..
many ppl wud be in my situation with xl,imt etc.. best of luck to all.. me finally booking tickets for imt...

i dont understand one thing....
even if the results will be out by 20th, it is still gonna be a bad case for us...
we have to deposit 85k on 1st may... wht r they thinkin.. r we so rich dat we can arrange this amount within 10 days itself??
m not from a very rich family dat i ask my dad money n he gives me this huge amount so early...
they shud atleast give us a buffer of 15 days.. if they r not declaring results, they can atleast postpone the last date of submitting the first installment...

Don worry! I hope they'll extend the date. And God knows, how they will communicate abt the commencement of the classes!!!
Going by the current trend, they can also play any kinda games abt starting the classes.:(:(

i wish they declare the results soon as in right now i am in dilemma whether to accept the onsite opportunity my PM has offered to me or not. obviously, if i make it into MDI(keeping my fingers crossed), i'll not accept it but in case i don't 😞 ,then i will definitely go for it. but, hey! i've to make the decision fast!!!

i called up MDI few min back...no one was pickin up fro around 6-7 min.. the guy kept transferring.. finally a guy picked up n said...
me-" hello sir, i just wanted to know that when r the HR results goin to be out"
him- "the results will be out on saturday, n all the courses result will be out then"

after 2 mins, when i called up to confirm,
the clerk said" they will be out tom after lunch"
I asked "IIM's are expected to delay their result.....will u delay in that case?"
He said" NO"
Dont know if he can be trusted or not.....

i said but as told by you last week admission office remains close on saturday sunday, then how will result come tomorrow..
but i just now told u its either today or tomorrow...
so should i expect result today second half..

I just checked that 7 guys out of these sixty have made it to the full time course of MDI itself.
Mine is waitlisted. 48
Total Students in waitlist - 149 ......
