Hi,
Got a score of 680 in gmat. 2 yrs work exp. Lots extra cirriculars.
What I wanted to know is that how advisable is it to apply in the 3rd deadline?

Well basically according to what I've heard... 50% seats are filled in the first deadline. 30% in the second and rest 20% in the 3rd and 4th Deadline. Which means the chances of getting in obviously reduce. Sach hai kya?

Universities shortlisted - virginia(darden), ohio state(fisher), Indiana(kelley), Rochester(Simon), Temple (PA), ISB Hyderabad.

There is no fixed quota as to how many students are selected in specific rounds. As far as I know Wharton has just given around 25% of the admits in the first round and the rest will be spread between the 2nd and the 3rd.

But yes, the 3rd round is usually hyper competitive. The level of competitiveness is again based on the kind of profile you have vis a vis the others who've applied to that round :)

ISB - Hyd , doesn't have a 3rd round tho` :)

Best of luck
