"The MBA - Financial Markets is a two year full-time program offered by Bombay Stock Exchange Training Institute Limited in collaboration with Indira Gandhi National Open University to cater to the needs of the fast-growing financial world with a keen focus on financial markets.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate (10+2+3 or 4) with minimum 50% and 45% for SC/ST candidates from a UGC recognized University.
Selection Criteria
Valid CAT Scores or BTI - ET* scores for Indian students and GMAT scores for International and Non - Resident Indian students. Selected students will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview which will be preceded by a BTI - ET, which is a selection criterion for the next round.
*BTI - ET will follow a format similar to CAT and GMAT and will be held on 27th March, 2011 in all the major metros. Complete list of test centers are available on the Application Form.
Program Fees
The fee for the program is Rs. 1, 90,000 per year of studies plus service tax as applicable (Presently 10.3%) for students in India and $15, 000 per year of studies plus service tax as applicable (Presently 10.3%) for International and Non- resident Indian students.
Application Process
For students from India the Prospectus application fees is Rs. 750/-.

The program is associated with IGNOU which is an open university. Does that make a difference? My colleague advised me to avoid doing MBA from open university since it can be mistaken for correspondence course. I am not aware of such a thing. Please clarify.
Can any1 please throw some light on how is the course offered by bti and what impact will it have on placements as the degree would be from ignou. please please help!!!!!!!:|

Those who attanded the seminar and enquire about the the program , response is very negative about this poor program. Staff do not speak about the Faculy and reluctnt to say detail about this program. It is batter to join other Institute.:splat:
Also I got a bad taste of BTI-IGNOU today. We were asked to attend a seminar at some hotel in chennai after reaching there we found that no one from BSE booked the hotel for seminar, even no one is informed about this. All anxious aspirants were disappointed with this. This shows they are not interested in doing this course!
The MBA in Financial Markets is a very sinciere offering from the BSE Training Institute to help build the required competencies of entrants into the domain of financial markets. I called them and i was told that there was no shortlisting for candidates submitting cat scores and there will be an aptitude test for guys who have submited mh-cet.
He told me that they will email us.
But still i havnt recieved any mail.
God knows how will i get reservation and reach there.
