I am interested in pursuing an MBA degree abroad. I have just now completed my engineering from a top most college in India. My academic performance is as follows.
CGPA : 8.17/10
I have participated in quite a few extra curricular activities can get good reco's. I am placed in a very good company in the manufaturing sector with a technical job profile where i am going to spend my next one yr.
The only hindrance i have is that i do not have any work-ex as of now and will be having 1 yr work ex when joining an MBA abroad.
I would like to know what are my chances of getting an MBA in US,and in what 'type of universities'. How will the universities consider my experience (coz i must be apping in 6 months from now, when my work ex will be just 4 months). If not US where else can i try?
Kindly advise me in this regard. I have not given my GMAT yet.
I would also like to add that i am confident of getting into one of the Top-10 MBA institutes in India through cat,xat etc. So i want to weigh my options and know whether there is any point in trying for an MBA abroad this year.
