Hi,
I might not be the best person to comment on your profile and your chances. However, i can assure of a very streamlined admissions process. To my perception you have a great basic profile and you can build over it by writing good essays..
Here goes my profile :
GMAT : 700/6
Work Ex : 4 years of Tech Consulting ( SAP Consulting ) experience with a MNC at the time of of joining.
ExtraCurricular Activities: Very good with number of awards and accolades.
My experience of admissions process at MAYS ws by far the best among all the schools i applied to.Though it will call for a lot of patience.Bt believe me the wait is worth. Jus make sure, you follow up good . One tip that i will have for fellow applicants is to participate in chat sessions that the school organises.Show a lot of interest in the school and that goes a long way in tilting the favors towards your side.
Lemee knw fr ny other help that you might want on this!

Hi Guys,
These days I am writing my essays for Mays and I am somewhat confused about the second essay. It asks 'what has prevented you from becoming more successful'.
I always find it difficult to talk about my weaknesses. Can someone here give any tips, considering most of you have already applied to Mays. What sort of weakness is safe to talk about especially when we admit that it has prevented us from becoming more successful. What's the best approach to take?
Please help.
Nikita (GMAT 680, TOEFL 115, BTech in 2005, 2.5 years of experience that includes IT, HR and NGO)
This essay mostly depends on the examples you cited from professional life.In general, you should capture a weakness which a target bschool can help in.eg. lacking team building skills which a team-oriented program can help in,knowledge of functional areas like marketing which you could not learn to full extent.
Hope this helps :)

Hi,
I might not be the best person to be commenting on your chances. However, i can pass on some suggestions based on my experience .
- Try improving your GMAT score by few notches . That will add value to your otherwise strong profile.
- You have a non IT work ex , so make sure you make the best use of the same by projecting the diversity of your work ex through your essays.
- College selection primarily depends on your aspired area of specialisation. Select your school accordingly and that will go a long way to help your chances.
- Connect with the adcom team on a regular basis through chat & other connect sessions. They are very approachable and the best onez to help your cause.
Drop in a mail to me in case you need any more help.
