Purpose of the thread is to reflect all the happenings in XLRI : GMP ( 1-year program of XLRI) and bring the memories , yaadien of seniors, current batch n coming batches on a common platform. It's different from 2-years as we have to manage all the things in 1-year.
All the mastee in hostel, XLRI - dhaba (next to our Canteen), all the sleepless nights to prepare multiple presentations(invent strategies of companies in span of 2 to 3 hours ....
) , all the partiiesss...., getting up at 8:30 and running in Learning center to attend the lecture at 9.

Some distintive features of XLRI Jamshedpur :
- Campus is full of greenery. A perfect view from my room @ D-101 :)
- XLRI Dhaba, Bishu Da and Dadu's are some of the food joints of XLRI which we are gonna miss after the college days n find the due space in Quizesss and case studies in our lecturessss.......
- JSR is small city with no malls........ 😞 ..miss all the malls n food joints of gurgaon/delhi ........ :|
- Bistupur n Sakchi are our favourite areas as they are closest to the college ...
- If u r fresher, u can get all the information from auto-wallahasss...... 😉 😉
...rest to come in the posts....will try to bring as many people as possible.....

a rare day in Life of a GMPian.
2 lectures....played games in lecture

2 hours sleep in day

.....
party till 2 in D-block ....then in front of C-Block ....followed by visit to Bishu Da and small n peaceful city.
4:49 at night and it is time to say goodbue to XLRI and jamshedpur in 30 minutes for 7 days. DURGA PUJA!!!

no quizzess, no assignemnt, no presentation ...no sleeplessness... yuhuuu ...

.... Cold Bournvita of Dadu's rocks!..I actually missed it at home!
Back to studies, assignments and surprise test! The day began with the Capstone Business simulation exercise (http://www.capsim.com) -- Interesting stuff to say the least, we've more of the Capsim coming in the next few days.
It seems as if the past week flew by in a flash. We had an alumni meet organized in different parts of the country.
Meeting my seniors at Chennai was unimaginably motivating!
And now it looks like we have the next 3 weeks loaded with classes, before we leave to different international destinations for our "Immersion" programs -- learning time in foreign universities.
Signing off for now.
Dear Friends,
Wish you all a very happy Dushehra!
We are back to XL after the Dushehra Break..
..and guess what yeh dil mange more...
..more of holidays....
yesterday when I reached the campus, I was getting a dejavu like feeling as if it was my first day @XLRI....with friends pouring into the campus slowly-slowly and all of meeting
again like long lost friends ( a week of break seems like ages!)....
now in true XL sense we need to get back to track with our 20-22*7 schedule ...
mauj masti ke sath padhai-likhai (read in reverse order) .... :banghead:

The feeling that holidays are over is sinking in fast. Back to back classes from 09 am till 09:15 PM, assignments and lingering dead lines of project submissions. Still a few days for the barrage of quizes to start but they are on the horizon. Yeh, bring it on........
Gosh.....it's morning already !!! Was playing Table Tennis till 2 AM yesterday night......was absolute fun. Life @ GMP starts after 10 PM. Let me catch upon some assignments for today..........Ciao

Around 50 of our 120 members are heading to Kolkata for their US VISA Interviews. The campus and hostels are going to sport a deserted look indeed!
Today we came to know that we would be up against a bunch of other colleges from India and Abroad to participate in the Capstone strategy game. Our team is leading in a couple of market segments in the intra-GMP trials, and I hope lady luck does not get tired of us.
Hitting the gym now, adios!

We managed to perform well in this round, despite running into negative cash flows in last round. Had a healthy 3 hour discussion yesterday night on capstone strategy, before heading to Bishuda for a hot plate of "bread bhurji".

Please put your query on correct thread : http://www.pagalguy.com/discussions/xlri-gmp-prospective-students-2012-25068612
Above mentioned thread is specifically for Aspirants of GMP - 2012
Also, we won't be able to answer the second query i.e. comparison.
Please limit your queries to XLRI - GMP .
