Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Hyderabad is among the premier management institutes in Hyderabad. The institute is housed in a fully air conditioned five storey building and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities inclusive of dedicated rooms to host guests from the industry, a fully functional mini auditorium and roof top garden that adds a pleasant touch to the corporate outlook. Thus, bridging the gap between the two spheres of knowledge exchange, and an atmosphere of holistic learning and refreshment for the students. The institute is also served by a fully computerized and well stocked library with access to electronic versions of journals and databases. Internet access is available throughout the campus at all times. The aesthetic appeal and infrastructure is equally matched with quality management education and events. The Faculty are among the top and the best in their fields with many pursuing their research ambitions alongside. Visiting faculty equally complement the full time faculty through their additional knowledge of the industry they are active in. All visiting faculty are consultants to premier organizations, employees or associated with other institutes like Indian School of Business. We maintain lower batch strength as compared to other premier institutes with the belief to attract only the best and to provide focused and individual attention to the students.
We have also hosted a “TEDx” event, a great platform where people who have great ideas speak about themselves and share their success stories and inspire others to follow and achieve their dreams. The event was grand with wide participation from the pioneers of industry. Another major event completely conducted and organized by the students was the “CEO week” where the CEO's and other senior management leaders were invited to share their insights with the students. The participation was overwhelming with participation from HDFC, Idea, and others. We also hosted its flagship event “Corporate Conclave” which was attended by eminent personalities from Amazon and ADP.We also arrange regular sessions of “Coffee with Alumni” wherein aluminis' of the institute are invited to share their knowledge and experiences. The knowledge that the students gained from these events was of unfathomable proportions.
The students have also displayed and proved their calibre through their involvement and participation in many events and competitions across the country. The students have won many competitions conducted by premier organizations like CRISIL and other management fests organized by institutes like BITS Pilani, Institute of Public Enterprises, IIFT, IBS and many others. In addition, there are various student driven committees(Academic, Sports, Cultural, SSR, Magazine) and clubs which aim at expanding awareness in a wide variety of fields like Finance, Marketing and organizing academic and sports activities. The Student Social Responsibility team's recent event MoneyMantra had attracted a huge participation where a large sum of money was raised and in turn employed to fund the education of those students with financial difficulties.
