The Undergraduate Degree in BSc. Agriculture consists of few core subjects such as Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Agronomy, Soil Science, Plant Genetics, Plant Pathology, Land Surveying, Entomology Horticulture, Physiology, Food Science, water resource management, and Animal Products management. A number of subjects such as Economics, Meteorology, Technology, Business, and Production Management are studied in close reference to the subject.

Both the names are well renowned in the private university sector of India. I am a passout of LPU and honestly that is one decision which I have never regretted in my life. I would like to share my experience with you which will definitely give you a clear picture of how LPU has not only given my career a kickstart but also has helped me evolve as a tech expert in my domain.

When you compare LPU with Amity, Fees is a big concern at LPU, but scholarships at LPU are at great help.
The industry exposure that we got during our tenure is commendable. I can clearly see the difference in terms of concept clarity and strong basics at my workplace and I owe it all to my college .
During my first year I participated in a lot of live projects and inter college tech fests. Since I was new to application based learning, the faculty was my back bone and helped me at every step where there was a hindrance.

During my second year there were a lot of practical classes as well. The computer languages that we learnt as per our syllabus was backed by a very thorough practical learning with our home assignments. This was the time when I also got in touch with my college seniors who not only helped my with my assignments but are also friends for life now.

During the 3rd year , there were pre-placement classes and a series of mock tests that helped us prepare for our final placements. We also had a few extra classes which covered industry concepts apart from the regular curriculum. In that year I participated with my friend in a robowar competition in Punjabi University and we came second. That was where I applied my practical knowledge from all that I learnt in theory classes.

In the 4th year also there were personality development classes which groomed us well and made us ready for our campus placements.
All in all my experience in LPU has been amazing and my graduation years couldn’t have been better anywhere else.

Lovely Professional University which lies in between Phagwara and Jalandhar on NH 1 is a hub of studies who really wants to study. As a student of LPU, I would like to speak the truth regarding the studies that some of the teachers are not good as they come here to take the experience of teaching only from Lovely University.

Regarding Infrastructure, it is very - very good but who cares if study is not so good. I am personally telling you that like a book cannot be judged by its cover same way a university is also cannot be judged by its infrastructures. Except studies related issues you will be getting many platforms to showcase your talent like mimicry,acting,dancing,singing,modelling,theater,etc but won’t get in any study related issues.

Infrastructures is very good as recently one Earthquake came by which building shattered for continuously for 40 to 50 seconds or more than that but our building happily survive in that 7.9 scale earthquake, so its good.

Teachers are not that much accommodating as they should be. Attendance is the major qualms as minimum should be 75% . I am ecstatic about the safety provided here to all the students specially girls.

Food is very good as compared to hostel life but not good as compared to home. I can say this as I have lived the hostel life before also. Study environment is also very good like there are study room in every hostel+common room in every hostel also there are libraries too where you can study and there is always be your room too. Common rooms are attached to hostels so that other friends can come who don’t live in your hostel because there are turnstile gates in every hostel so that other hostlers won’t enter your hostel.
