Hostel life teaches you a lot of good things such as teamwork, a helping mindset, a sense of unity and sacrifice, etc. There are lots of advantages to hostel life. This gives students a sense of responsibility, independence, and self-care.
Hostels at LPU have - Separate accommodation is provided to girls and boys in different hostels. Hostels are allotted to students based on the availability of the seats. All the hostels are provided with basic facilities for comfortable stay of students away from home.
All the hostels also have mess facilities of their own which provides quality and hygienic food and the food was very tasty and with different varieties daily. Laundry- There is an in-house laundry provided inside the campus which takes care of all the laundry services of students. Hospital- The university also has a hospital inside the campus which serves all medical facilities of students, staff and faculty.
The Bsc Agriculture course provided by the LPU is approved by ICAR i.e Indian Council of Agriculture and Research an autonomous body responsible for co-ordinating agricultural education and research in India. It reports to the Department of Agricultural Research and Education, Ministry of Agriculture. And Punjab State Council for Agricultural Education (PSCAE).
