I am a first year student at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore. A new institute, with soooooo many innovations! We're part of an industry mentorship, we have summer internship, AIESEC, NEN, clubs on campus, student companies, and most important, a fresh new curriculum which is focussed on digital technologies.
I;ll quote one article that appeared in news recently
Management education evolved in the 1960s in India in the premier management institutions. Many institutions which followed the success of these premier management institutions cyclostyled and standardised MBA curriculum so senselessly that neither did it add any value in career building nor did it help as a certificate for petty job seekers.
Given the scenario today, there is still a need to bring about a substantial amount of freshness and cut down the clutter that prevails across the board under disguise of classical educational practices and rich heritage. Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore which is just one year old has been privileged with opportunities to challenge every bit of a stereotype and staleness in approach, structure and learning process in management education. A series of innovations makes the institute believe that career building can be achieved through a creative process which facilitates full expression of dreams and passion by all its stakeholders.

Culture of why not: Bureaucracy, authoritarian behavior, hierarchy are traditional practices in society therefore these are completely done away with at the Institute.
Catalyst: The term student is usually associated with passive learners and therefore all participants at the institute are addressed as catalyst from the first day. They are seen as contributors and faculty do not teach nor guide but facilitate them to explore, think and create.
Educational thrust: The 21st century has seen the World Wide Web permeate every aspect of life. The future lies in innovation, creativity, new ideas and entrepreneurship, and in thinking out of the box. The institute is the first in South East Asia to conceptualised a contemporary management education with includes digital business management practices
Innovations in Management Education
Impact Makers (Leadership Privilege Earning Points): Everyone at the institute has to create a new idea and innovate on new perspectives (which need to lead to concrete results) and earn Privilege Points. These points can be redeemed for monetary/non-monetary rewards and honors.
Mentoring young enterprises for two years: (YEMP Chisel): Students under the YEMP- Chisel are attached to an innovative company for a period of two years as mentors- not interns or managers- to help organizations bring in contemporary strategies and best practices and improve overall business performance.
Innovative campus enterprises: Breaking away from conventional approach to MBA to be able to achieve more than just an MBA degree. All the students experience a complete cycle of entrepreneurship and strategic management.
Workshop mode: The institute has moved away from traditional session-based class structure to workshop mode. A course is broken into four to five workshops which consists of learning about concepts and new development, with immediate evaluation
The learning process: The philosophy followed is that course material, notes and articles can be sourced, it is the experience that a student carries that matters, and it is un-imitable. The pedagogy used is very unique, which makes learning relevant, current, memorable and lots of fun.
The paperless digital office: The institute is completely paperless and no session materials are photocopied instead they are uploaded on the academic ERP. The purpose is dual to make every process faster, smoother, better and also to help protect the environment.
Campus life: (signature events and clubs): Living on campus gives students a chance to roll up their sleeves and get involved in a variety of activities and clubs. The institute also has signature events, namely, ENCORE, CAMPUS LIFE, PITCH DA PLAN, and MUDRA, Youth Empowerment of the Corporate, and various workshops, seminars and roundtables on unique topics.
Conclusion
A new institutional culture needs a different set of institutional systems. It cannot be built through administrative-driven rules which do not help create anything. After all, everybody wants to go beyond the regular and make an impact at all levels which will help individuals and societies grow

This was the second utter successful year of Encore at Jaipuria Indore campus that observed a registration of over than 200 participants. The panel of experts at campus screened out exclusive presentations on the topics of great attractions given like
Thinking out of the box, Having fun at office, Face book vs. Google, E-library, Educational Gaming and the like.
Contestants traveled nation wide and appreciated the way the event was staged and organized. The institute observed. On this occasion, all the guests penned on the Wall of Fame of Jaipuria campus LIKE
