Hi, i m finally back, to tell u some interesting things about my college, it is situated in MP, indore, takshila campus of Devi ahilya university (UTD) on khandwa road, first session in iips started in 1992, by R.D aggarwal famous management guru, its second most preferred college for MBA in MP (MP-MET) MBA started as MMS (master of mangement science), which was later changed to MBA when institute got approval from AICTE.
The campus is lush green with good parking space (known as chaman vaatika) many students spend much of their time daily in chaman vaatika for various reasons.
Its bieng long time i posted, but here we go again, today i will tell u about the faculties of my college, then about the exam pattern, the infrastructure, & then an important annoucement.
50 % faculties of my college of my course r visiting faculties & remaining r permanent which gives us a good mix of knowledge & practical life as they r from some good companies or own a business, they r qualified as per the requirement of AICTE. the r always available to help students & interaction is always good & 'illuminating' they help us develop a perspective as required for the subject.:lookround:
The exam pattern of my college is too cool, there r 3 internal test, 2 of them r normal written exams & the third is either written or assignment, people say its hard to flunk a test in IIPS but many people of my class won`t agree on that i think. the internal test/marks contains a total of 40 marks (2 out of best of 3) & main exam consist of 60 marks, the passing marks r 30 marks out of total 100. iips follows grading system i:e u don`t get marks in marksheet but grades & its called gradesheet.
The infrastructure of iips is good, its a government run setup, so don`t get ur hopes high, but ambiance is very conductive for studies as well as xtra curricular activities, u will meet the best students with lots of talents in other area too.
IIPS is organizing a alumini meet on 2 april, we expect to meet lots of our honourable seniors who made there mark in various fields, looking forward to see u ppl.
Now as i m done with official intro & info, lets see whats going on inside the corridors of college.
the preferred language is hinglish, they drop few english words in between there hindi conversation, the crowd is one of the best in indore colleges, with gender ratio biased towards women , students organize various events all year around.
i m participating in alumini meet at 2 april, i got a summer stall to manage in the meet, i m planning for some game which should pull crowd as well as a money spinner for my team 
its nice to find someone of iips here.....i m in the same college kuntal.....last year student of mca(6yrs course),,,although in my sixth year i attended the alumni meet as an alumni..lolzzz.....
logo ko placement scene ke bare me bhi batao iips se mba ka....thats most important.
Apart from Placements, also inform us about the specializations offered in IIPS?

if u are looking for placemnts then u wil be disappointed in the end with any or all of the courses.....if u hav some penchant towards some particular field then go for that...but u are alwys on ur own,dont aspect iips or soe will do anything for you.
Hello Stormer sir , really is it true tht IIPS Dont provide placement programs ? but i thought its best institute in M.P. ..... how can this be .... i am confused , i rejected my engineering seat for getting admission in this college ... .plz help me out sir , is this not good college ?

U r right that IIPS has good placement record... I think u don't aware about the IIPS, MBA(T). Do you know last year almost all students got placement from MBA(Tourism), IIPS and some students had taken placement through off campus recruitment.
And If we talk about the APR.. then IIPS don't have good on-campus placement record in APR. but off campus. IIPS students are best and delivering their services all over india

IIPS is the second best B-school in indore after IMS.. and also have good image in corporate world. There are many recruiters who are visiting IIPS on regular basis like TCS. Nestle, Thomas cook, Orbit etc...
