Two roads diverged in a wood, and I - I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. - Robert Frost.

Our ‪PGDM‬- DS student Sagar Karande who is interning with BAIF-MITTRA, Thane believes in taking a path less traveled. Holding a BE degree he wasn't satisfied being a another engineer.. He resolved to find a cause that would enable him to make our society a better place. He researched various programmes that would offer him training and mentor-ship to give form to his ideas on Social Entrepreneurship. I have learnt about different approaches and methods of PRA along with the potential of those approaches. I also got to know how to make participation more practical.

PRA is an excellent method of learning about rural life and India's real condition through its people directly!

EDII - PGDM in Development Studies..in the words of Aditi Patil (Batch 2013-15):

"I joined EDII in 2013 with a very clear goal in mind about the Development Sector. I knew I wanted to work in the Wildlife and Conservation field. EDII helped me find very specific internships which gave me rich experience to start with. The exposure visits of PRA, micro-enterprises, village institutions taught me rapport building. Overall, it has been an enriching 2-year journey with EDII and I am thankful to the professors and faculty for their guidance. I also appreciate the balance between activities at EDII-Studies, sports, parties-this made sure we were never overworked. EDII's library was most helpful with plentiful resources and an amazing collection of development sector literature. "

Another feather in EDII's cap. We have just partnered with Facebook for launch of 'Boost your business' program, to be aimed at training small & medium business owners in growing their business using Facebook. The event happened today and it was graced by Hon. CM of Gujarat Shri Vijay Rupani. One more reason for entrepreneurs to choose EDII.
