This thread is basically for the discussion pertaining to Life and culture at BIT,Mesra...I feel proud to be a part of the 2009-11 Batch at BIT,Mesra....
Each day brings with it the dawn of a series of expectations, excitement, resolutions and apprehensions..
Now its almost 8 months since we began our life here @ BIT...The infrastructure is just amazing out here...

We strive here to keep pace with the fast moving corporate world and prepare ourselves for the challenges ahead...

definitely one of the better colleges of the country....there are many positives,but few of the things which are quite unique for it : discipline!!...well at first u may feel its soem sort of a negative...administration is very strict,and u CANNOT cross ur limits....I have spent 4 years in this college,and I have not seena sinle incident of violent public fight,gundagiri type things,or gross misbehaviour with females....college is actually very harsh on females with rules forcing them to get inside hostels by 6(+-30 mins)in the evening,but at the end of the day this college indeed is very secure for the female junta....twards the end of my collg life I have kind of began to appreciate the administration on being overly strict....ragging is nt at all an issue here,and similarly all the things that i mentioned earlier :)

there are a lot of clubs and a plethora of extra curricular activities go on and on...there is a bit of everything...yours truly is the President of Dramatics Society of this collg. and I can assure u if u have an interest in Drama or Script writing,there is an amazing grp of people waiting fr u!!

there are many other things that deserve mention...anyways a little on the other side....there are some uncoperative people at some important posts in the collg(wont take any names) and that can be somewat a headache(my opinion)...otherwise its agreat place

ok another thing....if u love natural beauty,this is among the best campus ever ever....raw,fresh and inspiring greenery...BIT Mesra is amazing

BIT accepts only CAT score...cutoff is not fixed becoz of reservation & domicile quota...provide more detail about ur category n domicile...den i m able to answer ur query...

BIT,Mesra accepts only CAT SCORE(cutoff:above 80%ile-General/Non Jharkhand Quota)...Placement is good...

First let me introduce myself.... I'm pursuing my MBA frm BIT Mesra (2k9-11).
I got a score of 92.18%ile in CAT 2008 and opted to get admission here.
I got final call from IMT but was nt able to take admission due to financial problems and let me tell u that opting for BIT has proved so far to be really worthful to me:p:p.

Now, ask me whatever u wanna knw abt BIT's MBA program.

I got a score of 93,66%ile in CAT 2008 and opted to get admission here.
