The students imbibe all kinds of learning from the Kendra.The Kendra imparts knowledge of ‘Indianess’ in the children and parents who come to learn. Small things like respecting elders, following rules, maintaining Discipline are inculcated amongst the students.The Kendra acts as a mirror to the learners to reflect their inner beauty and hidden talents which is expressed through the various forms of styles of dance and music.

She has won several awards, including the Sanskriti Award, 1984, President of India's award of Padma Shri, 1990, the Orissa State Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, 1996 and several others.She inherited a deep love towards art and dance from her family and under the proper guidance of her guru Shri Harekrishna Behera, the world soon came to know about her extraordinary skills. She gave her first public performance at the age of only 4. Initially she learnt Bharatnatyam and Kathak, but finally she chose Odissi as her medium of expression. Her Odissi art skills were refined to finest under the tutelage of legendary Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra.

Some of the key highlights of her talk was "I would visit the most gloomy areas in Africa that people would assume to be ugly. I received the Africans with open arms and I was received the same way”. The way you treat people is how you are treated, everyone is the same. And this is applicable all around the globe. A standard Indian passport has 36 pages, and the“jumbo” passport has 60. Imagine the travelling you would have to do fill one of that. Now multiply that by 18. Guess what, Meher Moos, Affectionately called “Magellan” after the Portuguese explorer, has already done that. And she is nowhere close to the end of it. With 18 passports, 181 countries andthe achievement of being the first Indian women under her belt, Meher isthe quintessence of “Wanderlust”All this started with her job as an air hostess in Air India, in 1965, when she was just 21. She would spend the next seven years flying on the Nairobi- Japan-New York route. During this time, her thirst for travel grew stronger. In 1972, Meher was transferred to the ground staff team, but the travel enthusiast chose to join the tourism department of the airlines. Her new assignment was to promote the Buddhist tourism circuit in India to countries in East Asia, and for this, she was deployed to Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha.

A speech competition on "MY VISION: CORRUPTION FREE INDIA" wasconducted at BIMTECH by The Oriental Insurance Company Limited.Various dignitaries from industry such as - Mr. Rahul Duggal, Mr. M P Nagpal, Mr. Masood Wahab, Mr. Prem Raj Tripathi, Mr. Siddharth Ahlawat among others were present to judge the competition.
The students presented different views on the root cause of corruption and the necessary measures to curb it.Students took the integrity pledge, wherein they vowed to take a stand against corruption.The winners of the competition were:
