hi guys i have gd pi on the 29 and i have applied for the reatil course.got 97 per in the dec mat but i lost my roll no of the mat exam and cant seem to find it any ways to get it.how is the reatil course.also i would be coming fomr jpr.the bimtech guys have said they will have 2 buses form dlehi appollo ot mibtech.i want to know how far is the apollo hospital bus stand form bikaner house and dhaaun kaon

i had my gd 2day my topic was "every cloud has a silver lining"it was a chaos bcoz of few guys i gave 2 solid nd valid points!!which were different but i think dat just bcoz of oder people evn my points or my behaviour wont get noticed!!!!aub mei kya karu????wat r my chances???kya mujhe bhi baki logo ki wajhse suffer krna padega????

Firstly thr ws n essy..the topic ws - "shud one judge a person according to his/her external appearances"...got around 10 mins to wrte..
gd- grp of 11ppl , topic- y not harvard shud set up an arm in india?
abt 15 mins for discussion...jst speak wid confdence n plz try nt 2 create a fish market..!

The panel ws very cordial...2 ppl were thr! i was suprised..coz they dint ask nythn abt acads n curnt affairs!!

@ kriti06 : well...dont hve any idea abt the way frm noida 2 bimtech...but in ur call lettr , bimtech guys mst hve mentioned the timings of their bus...if i can rembr its 7:45 am n 11:45 pm for the morning n eveng batchs respectively. The bus comes at the apollo bs stand.

Well to introduce myself i am from PGDBM 2005-07 batch of BIMTECH. I been seeing enquiries regarding how to reach BIMTECH from Noida.
Well the easiest way to catch the expressway bus which is of red and green colour( half the bus is red and half is green), it goes through the expressway from noida to pari chowk and bimtech is in the way very much visible from the highway itself.
U can catch this bus from bus stand of " gol chakker" i mean near indian oil building in noida( it starts from there), from the bus stand near ATTA MARKETand bus stand of 37 sector. It starts from 6 am in the morning and after every 40 minutes duration there is a bus.U can catch the last bus around 7pm.
I hope this piece of info will serve some purpose.

hi everyone...
well i had my gd pi session on 24th..
we had the essay topic as "Is education devaluing" n were given aroung 10 min for it.
ours was the first group for gd that day...
the topic was "castless India- a pipe dream". i was the one who started the gd n acted like a group leader i suppose. i also gave some points on it n also i concluded the gd.
we were then told to conclude individually for 30 sec each.
PI was not satisfactory.. they asked me acds n i was not able to answer some ques. but afterwards we came to a discussion on cricket world cup n also about ekta kapoor serails on tv. the panelists were very friendly.
i scored 98.75% in written test.
seniors please help me that will be selected or not... how many seats are there through mat in PGDRMM.

k friend i reachd bimtech at 9 am my gd pi time was 12:30 so was roamin in d campus!!at 1 we were given a topic 4 essay which was"FUTURE OF BPOs IN INDIA"d topic was easy nd went gud,den we proceeded for pi first!!d panel members were vry gud nd askd me bout my hobbies,nd d things which r dear to me in d order of preference,nd dat as i was dere in d campus since long den wat is 1 thng which i dislikd dere nd if i'll get d time nd authority den how will i change dat thng!!i guess i answerd all well 😃
den d final thng dey calld for gd had 15 students in my group wid only 2 gals includin me our topic was"EVERY CLOUD HAS A SILVER LINING"d moderatr gave all of us 1 minute to giv our own startin[ d negative thin here was dat as my no was 13 d main concept or d meaning of d idea was out by shuruke 4 people,so had no oder option den to repeat d same meaning wid differnt wrds]den he said 2 start a gd dere was a horrifyin chaos over dere nobdy was listening;every bdy was shoutin at a same time further d guy who was sittin bside me was shoutin"can we say in a chronological manner"
at d end d moderator gav all of us 30secs nd askd for individual summary!!!we ended wid dat!!i could easily make it out frm his xpressions dat he was nt happy wid our group
though m waitin 4 d results eagrly bt m still scared!!
by d way best of luk to all those who still have dere gd pi to b conducted!!!nd dont wry u wont get d sme bad people as were dere in my group!!!

well it seems some of u guys have gone through the GD & PI process of BIMTECH whereas some r still preparing for it. Some suggestions from my side and an answer to a few queries regarding whether u will be selected or not ....

Well priyanka it seems u did well in ur GD process and ur PI has been a bit above average, but ur percentile is good. The selection is based on many criterias as per my knowledge( coz no institute discloses that, but its as per my experience)
ur percentile, ur GD marks, ur PI marks, ur work ex ( if any), ur conduct( ur dressing sense, ur manerism, ur communication skills), ur background( graduation) and ur residential place. The overall marks r then summed up. And every institute has its own criterias. And u can evaluate urself based on this to 80% accuracy.
so it seems the overall score will be better and for PGDRMM there is 80% and more probability of urs getting through(as per my experience).....i hope u get through and All the best for that....but in other case don't come out hunting for my head.:smile: just kidding.

i was actually very much satisfied with my performance in gd but not with the pi as i told earlier. lets hope that everyone here gets through.
