If u have applied to BIMTECH then u must be knowing it as u wud have received the prospectus. Anyways, it is
4.5 lacs all inclusive of books and examination fees(for 2 years) and Approx. 1 lac per annum for fooding and lodging.
It may get a revision also.

Hi Seniors! i wanna knw that if i would be selected @ BIMTECH, then they have clearly stated that We generally give 20 days from the date of Admission Offer to deposite the first installment of the fee( i.e. 1/4 of the total fee)
My question is : Can it be extended! If the results of some other B schools from which i got the call would not be declared till that date.

Hi! BIMTECH is definitely better than other MAT institutes. But i think that, it doesnt participate in Feb MAT. Is it?

Thirdly, as far as I know and researched, it is the best in northern India and infact overall also (Talking about MAT only). Amity does not have AICTE approval (If it matters to you) and Apejay is not that good. Also in BIMTECH there are only two courses under MAT-Retail and Insurance. So you cant really compare the colleges on the basis of courses but as far as infrastructure and industry interface goes, BIMTECH rocks!
Its just my opinion and no intention of hurting anyone's feelings.

i will totally agree wid u.... pgdm and pgdib r thru cat only...and bimtech is growing...

well buddy .. the result will be out on the basis of cat.. as last date fr applying thru cat was in dec06... fr admission thru mat last date is 28feb.. so intr and results fr that wuld follow later..

no buddy i scored only 87%tile in cat so didnt apply to all these colleges .. i know welingkar,itm i might get the call but interview fr welingkar wuld be conducted in end of march or april... before that i wuld have to pay the fees fr icfai hyd..
anyway didnt u appear fr ibsat(icfai)

well bimtech is not bad.. but i m intrested in pursuing mba wid specialisation in finance and for that icfai hyd.. is pretty gud.. so i will chose icfai hyd over bimtech.. anyway have u thought what specialisation u wuld opt for or is it thing to be decided later on..

At BIMTECH I wud go for Marketing + Operations ( 4 subjects each as there are 8 electives in all ) and that too if I get PGDBM.

that seems to be a gud option.. i guess u r an engineer.. so operation+marketing might suit u..dont worry u have gud percentile and i guess u also had decent gd/pi.. so u shuld make it to bimtech..but try real hard fr kj somaiya .. it is one of the best institute ...
