Any idea when they wud be coming up wid the final reults? Also your CAT %ile and mine is quite close, so if you could you tell me what other forms you have filled?

well i havent applied to many colleges thru cat..
thru cat i have applied 2 IIFM bhopal,BIMTECH,NIILM cms, gona fill WELINGKAR too..have applied to few thru xat...
what abt u where have u apllied and got calls from

Thru cat i got call from BIMTECH only. I got a call frm SIOM and UBS, K J somaiya result is awaited. I will fill ITM and welingkars too. As u are staying in delhi, can you tell me if its worth doing MBA frm BIMTECH. Howz itm?

yup i am a delhite.... well as far as bimtech is concerned it is a gud college with gud infra and faculty... placement are also ok.. but the main thing is this college is gona grow and that is for sure... if u get thru kj or ubs etc then no point joining bimtech ..... but gud backup option..

Yaar wht are the chances of coversion at BIMTECH for me at CAT 88.37%ile an a work ex in MNC of 14 months. I am tensed as no admission in hand. Also my first call thru CAT.

Wht are the placement stats there? I ve heard BIMTECH will surpass Welingkar in the near future (1-2 years). I suppose BIMTECH is a lot better than ITM Navi Mumbai?

well i dont know all that much as i am also candidate like u... but if u search thru previous pages u can see last year people were gettin calls on 70+ in cat but avg. conversion was around 80+ , this time around bimtech is givin call i guesss above 75%tile so conversion would b arnd 85+... any way u have got gud work ex. and %tile so dont need to worry just prepare fr gd/pi..

got shortlisted with 70.88% in cat,i got the letter for gd/pi today.its on 8th feb in hyderabad.but problem is,they are asking for the original cat scorecard,which i have not recieved as yet.what to do about it.i have to leave for hyderabad on 7th,what if i dont get it before that.........kindly help,will the printout of cat score do?

i guess u shud call the admission office.
and i believe u might get it before 7 th.

I think this time around Bimtech for its flagship pgdbm progrma thru cat has given call above 80%ile in cat

is there any one who has got call for pgdbm with less than 80%ile please put your score.

I'm currently pursuing PG Diploma in PR & Marketing 4m YMCA, New Delhi. It will be completed in May(2007). I did my grads in English Hons. 4m DU wid 47%. I'm keen on doin PGDRMM 4m BIMTECH. M i eligilble? I wud also be takin MAT in May..n if i get a gud %tille, can i expect a call?? Since my grad %age is quite low & if i score a gud %age in this PG course, will it help me in getting admission??

well i have got a call from bimtech with 70.88%(gd/pi on 8th hyderabad).in the application form it was asked to name 3 courses acc.to preference.i gave my preference as 1.pgdbm, 2.pgdib, 3.pgdrmm
is it a possibilty that they will prefer candidates with 80+%,for the flagship pgdbm course,and people with lower percentiles for the other courses.can anyone from bimtech throw some more light on this issue.

I request you all the guys regarding the GD/PI that all those who are through the GD/PI process or will be going shortly, to post their experiences so that it would help others.

Actually BIMTECH gives some percentage of weihtage to the CAT score. So if one has lower CAT score and want admission to the Flagship program then one has to work very hard in GD/PI.
