reporting will be on 20th JUNE. both the hostels (guys n gals) along with mess and all is on the campus itself.
hi akshit, am doing great man. yeah i am looking forward to having a great time at bimtech. still waiting for the hotel letter. i wonder when its gonna come. hmm... if i remember correct we gotta pay the hostel fee in 3 instalment, is that right? am not very sure.

its nice to c that u all r so keen to join BIMTECH...........
ur joinin is on 20th june as mentione in d brochure........
There vl b an orientation session for 10-15 days includin guest lectures, management games, n even lectures...........which r really very important
Dont wry abt hostel letters.........u vl get them very soon..alon with that u vl get a list of things which u hv to brin along.....
So dont wry n enjoy d time u hv got in ur hand with ur families...........(specially formumbai n calcutta guys)

also vandana, u r doin a good job by helpin out our "super juniors" in their queries...well, i guess these are sum pre - contact points which u've developed with them, which'll also help them in future if need be!!!

got curious seeing the post re: the hostel fees thing, a friend phoned the office and asked regarding the pmt, he said that he was told that the 3 instalments thing is a misprint, it is payable quaterly, in 4 equal instalments. Somebody pl clarify.

HI THANK U 4 CONFIRMING D DATE... BUT WHEN I WENT TO BIMTECH 0N 29TH MARCH TO DEPOSIT MY DRAFT THEY TOLD ME ITS 20TH JULY N U WILL RECIEVE A LETTER REGARDING HOSTET SOON WHICH I HV NT RECIEVED YET.. HV U KYA..??

I received my admissions letter cum hostel letter today. Joining date is 15th June. they have a orientation programme, foundation course. Term starts from 1st July. hostel fees are paid in 3 instalements. First instalment by 5th June 2006.

Hey guys n gals :).
I also got my letter today. For those of you who have not recieved it till now here are some of the fine point.
1. Hostel facility cam be availed from 14th June.
2. Orientation Prog at 5 pm on 15th June.
3. Registration on 15th June between 10 am and 12 noon.
4. hostel plus mess charges are 6,000 and 1,800 per month for academic session 2006-07 to be paid in 3 installments of Rs. 31,200 each. First insallment to be paid by 5th June.
5. dress code is formal for 5 days
and........ thats it.. am not gonna type the whole letter yaar, lol.

i think akshit its better you talk with the bimtech ppl atleast over phone!on this matter i think its best to talk with the management there and take an earlier permission!
