It's time to choose our clubs here at Bengal Institute of Business Studies. Forget chess club, it's time for much more activities! The Four clubs are – E-Cell, Applied Knowledge Club, PlaceComm and Chetena. The mentors for each club have taken us through the club structures to help us to decide. I have interest in photography so I'll choose a club were I can use my skills the most. Our academic head says that students who participate in extracurricular activities are more engaged in college experience, and benefits both in and outside the classroom.
The clubs allow students an opportunity to make friends and know everyone in the campus. I'm excited, coz I'll soon meet more people with similar interests and have some great time. My elder brother who's doing management from Bangalore, was super excited about this concept but his college doesn't have this concept. My dad says, joining clubs is one of the many ways students network and develop lasting friendship. He was a member of his college club when he was pursuing his graduation from Brussels.
The club meeting at BIBS will be held once in a week. Each club has various departments headed by a leader who'll guide the other members and coordinate with the mentors. My main motive is to take my interests to the next level, as it will help me to grow in future.
I was a member of Chetena, organised several events and stage shows for BIBS, it's really an exciting platform to apply your own ideas.
I am thankful to Placecomm members, who have provided me such good job in ICICI Bank.
Well..... till now i haven't join any club , but looking for Applied Knowledge Club
I was the Convener of my College Club
All the new members of the Clubs .........................Wish you all the best
