@neha.coool both are equally good... it all depends on the way 1 c it..ado is a marketing job. one has to recruit agents, train them, supervise them, assist them i.e meet the customers if a agent is not able to convince and help customers at the time of policy lapse, policy renewal etc.. and collectively as a team u have to achieve targets...yes work becomes a bit easy as ur agents increases.. ideally i.e 1-2 years for DO. no body would supervise u, u r ur own boss.. there are do's who dnt even report to office for 8-10 days at a stretch.no body cares till u achieve ur targets which i said later on becomes easy with more agents + do will always be posted in their home town... salary initially as a probationary do is 22000 + commission. commission for a single policy is 5% on premium for 1st year, 2.5% for 2, 3, 4th year and so on, till the premium lasts . that's only for a single policy on premium, more policy more money.......SO ideally in 4 -5 years approx u can earn more than ur salary(at that time) in commission.
A.A.O : ITS unlike do which is a class 2 officer, is a class 1 officer.. posted anywhere in India with regular transfers and job with lots of responsibilities, a pure administration job with sat half days and sun off. yes there is customer interaction but limited unlike DO . those who say its easy, then they r mistaken, no job is facile and 1 has to struggle initially in every job... so be ready for extended shifts, seniors pressure and etc etc( those who have work ex. will understand this etc). salary will initially be around 40 k in hand after salary revision i guess..
the only big difference i c between the 2 is promotions and career growth which is strong in case of AAO, AAO becomes zonal manager and even more than that in future...
so i have given u the best possible perspective of both the jobs so its on u to decide which is good for u..and to all my puys who read it, plz dont compare the jobs, every job gives u enough opportunities to earn and grow, at the end u have to decide in which job u can fit.....easily
