doc. verification took hardly 5 mins. and guess what, I was the first one to be interviewed. entered and greeted them, they asked me to take my seat( Farzi smiles unke face per bhi or mere face per bhi k jese pata nahi mil k kitni khusi hui hai) they were three of them, One i think was from Jaipur only , sitting to the extreme left(ELM-1).
Middle one may be from MUmbai(MM-0) or some other head office and the extreme right one was from chennai(ERM+1)
. Middle one asked me about my previous job and why i want to come in public sector.He was not ready to take what every i had said to him and we had a very long and heated discussion over it and at last he said to move on asking something else coz this topic doesn't have any end.
now Right one asked me about Trade unions and are they necessary or not? after that he asked me about communist parties and their ideology. after that he asked who wrote Das Kapital. Now the Middle one asked about the Vijay Mallya and why he is a Willful defaulter not a normal defaulter?
Left one asked me about diff. between banking and insurance, about hobbies.

Guys LIC AAO salary is better than SBI PO...In LIC gross is about 48500-49500 per month...SBI its 4500-5000 less...And work culture is entirely diifferent...SBI job will be hectic...tremendous pressure...I know many who have resgined from SBI...Insurance AO is very relaxing better work lyf balance and more salary...I am an AO in New India Assurance

Guys aapka kya lagta hai ki lic aao online exam (excluding interview) mein aapke kitne marks as jayenge.. Mujhe to sure hai ki mere 275+ hain..
Interview experience LIC AAO @ Chennai 5th may 12:30 Document verification 10 mins pm Panel members M1 M2 n M3. All were retired officers. One of them was retired from SEBI one from LIC n another from a PSB. Only one was from TN others were from North India. Here are d questions asked: M1: about urself, about ur home town, why LIC after graduation, about ur college, about US elections n in what way it'll affect India.some general hr questions... M2: Why did u left ur previous job. What was the work nature. In what way u'll help lic grow. Ur hobbies. M3: what is happiness. What is IRDA its functions. SEBI, RBI n its functions. What is FDI. FDI in insurance. What is pragati scheme. What is UNO n why or was formed. Name some organizations im UNO. N few current affairs questions. M2 will not be satisfied with whatever answer u say b prepared for that. ATB guys
