friends, with the call letter they have send by post bio data form along with identity certificate are also there. bt I filled the bio data form and got gazetted of identity certificate of the print outs from the LIC site. is it ok or will have to redo the whole process with the forms sent by post?

Guys, your bio data will help a great deal in your interview. Each panel member will be having a copy (thats why, triplicate!).
Whatever you mention in it will be noted. If you have won Awards/Scholarships/extra Curricular activities, do mention it. List them by numbering in the space provided. Don't shy away. It can even be Volunteering activities or a gold medal you won for a 100m dash! Dont think you are flattering! They genuinely want to know what you are capable of. The biggest merit is that they will ask you questions related to your such activities. I bet you will be more comfortable in having such an interaction rather than being shot by Subject/Insurance questions (Engineers, mind it
Now let it be Technical qualifications, list them. Tempt them to enter your safe zone and chances are that the whole interview will be more of a casual interaction.
Be honest & straight forward. And one last thing, don't be too concerned about "what to do with this column and that column" & they are not going to hang you if you forgot to write a "NA" in some random Column. There is no standard procedure of filling your Bio Data. Rather, do it with your common sense.
I'm a BTech Mechanical Engineer, I wrote BTech under stream & Mechanical Engineering under main subjects. Who cares if you dont list the core subjects like Thermodynamics, Automobile etc. That was a choice I took, because I dont want them to focus on technical subjects!

3 panel members out of which one was from LIC nd one from my father's bank(retired GM)...They asked my name and father's profession and then started with questions relating to South China Sea and El Nino effect...I was not aware of South China sea but gave 70% details of El Nino yet they were not satisfied,,,Then questions about GST bill and Rajya Sabha..few more questions were there which i didnt remember about UCO bank, SIDBI(my pvs intvw) and IBPS , abt AAO work culture and one member was very happy seeing my BIT Mesra degree. He asked some Electrical stuff and UDAY scheme. Be careful while writing extra curricular activities as whole intvw will revolve around that only
