Hi,

I have 1+ years of work experience and am planning to take LIBA next year. Can anyone tell me what is the procedure for getting admitted to PGDBM in part time(LIBA)?

Hi Nithin

No offence intended to LIBA, but with a score of 99%ile in XAT, you are destined for better Schools pal. The average XAT % score of LIBA class will not be more than 85-88 mate, that too this year. It was much less earlier. Never ever consider LIBA but prepare to give your best shot in XIMB. All the best to you pal.

hi me 2 shortlisted, have 99%ile in xat, but pbbly will not attend liba int as i have ximb int in blore on the same day ie march 21st, and liba has clearly said that change of dates will not be entertained, so i guess its bye bye to liba ATB to every1.

hey dude...why to feel any thing bad about you?i had 86 % but got rejected coz of my pathetic quants perc of just 30%.seems tht they are also looking for sectionlas...and thts why u r in...

hey now since u have call from this good inst try your best to convert it.

i don't think the christian argument is true............ i am a christian with 93 percentile but still no call.....iwant to know if scoring too high is also a problem for some colleges... i am washing my hand hands off with MBA in india...

hey karthik you've got company at LIBA...i hope at least we both will be there to form a group for gd... :)

almost everybody in the above posts hasn't shown very enthusiastic interest in LIBA...good...the coll looks good and they are humane enuf to spare me the clash with the XIMB interview (19th morning)....

and guyz i suppose we gotta confirm that we are coming for the process on that email id...before 13th...

hey ...i have call at 95.6:ile...i dont think there is any upper cut off...anywaya i am not sure if i wanna go ...too far away from delhi...already spent lotta money in travelling for interviews...but i guess ...i have to...have no substantial calls (except for icfai-gurg...not sure abt this either)...

anyway best of luck to all call getters...BTW...any girl from delhi who has an interview on 19th march...do lemme know immediately ..or rather contact me at [email protected]

any ways me gonna call them tomm and check personally!

Hey buddy check out the junk mails folder i had my mail there


and all pgites any one received the call letter by the mail just tell in case

maybe a sectianal in Quant :grab: has ben laid at LIBA ...........
Thats why i think some have not got the calls at a very high scores that is in case no christian Quotas have been in place

i just called up liba and there cut off seems to be 90! 89-90 that is what those guys told!

any ways our cut offs of 75-80 seems ridiculous now!

just for next year guys with xat percentile of less than 90 ! dont bother filling up forms ! there are few good colleges taking xat scores and most cut off being more than 90 apart from goa whose cut off was low because of the early close date!

It is not your quant. But all the people with 95 and above who applied and who have no intention of joining the program. Anyway as I have been telling you guys before the no. of seats in general category is less in LIBA.

Libe is abt 5 kMS from Chennai Central. Based on UR budget U have many choices pal. If your budget is around 700-800 bucks there are a couple of hotels opposite to Chennai central. If its ia abt 300-400 you have plenty of options in Egmore, which is in between Central and Liba. Just by the side of Central you have a road called 'Walltax Road' or about 500 metres down on Poonamallee High Road you have plenty of hotels to suit every budget.

Best of luck for guys who got the LIBA call.

I understand the difficulty in travelluing all the way down, but look at it this way, if you have a high percentile and confident about interview and GD, then it is a breeze. About 100 seats on offer this year.

BTW, I am in LIBA.

And regarding stay....well Chennai central is very close to Poonamalee Rd, and this is close to LIBA there are hazaaar lodges there.

i have my Gd-pi on 19th march at 2 pm . Busy week ahead for me as i also have Nmims on 16th and Dse- MIB, MHROD on 17th .

so not sure whether i will be able to reach chennai from delhi on 19th.

will try to change the dates.
