I have applied for the early deadline of Purdue Krannert too.
I havent received any updates from the school yet. However, i have come to understand from the older threads that Purdue is very laid back when it comes to the admission process and also they are notorious for admitting students without and i/v....

Youve got me worried now. I had checked on all the previous threads and found out that Krannert interviewed very few students and most of these interview applicants got an admit.So i guess, its a clincher for you.
Any more details you can share about the interview invite? Skype? Telecon? When is it scheduled for?

they asked for skype or telephone or in-person to chose from.. since i have skype id taking skype interview with them... they asked me to give preferences with dates and timings...wrote to them...havent received any reply... since last 2 days were weekend...expecting some mail tonight... i have chosen the option areas of TIE and Strategy Management.

Neways, i just read the last year thread fully and identified that in 2010 they dint interview many applicants but in 2011 they interviewed many of the applicants. Also the interview invite to admit ratio seems very high, going by last years thread.
Additionally, Purdue does seem to get back to the applicant very quickly after the interview. So i guess you ll know in a few short weeks!!!

This is Bharath here and i am interested in applying to Purdue by the Feb 1st deadline. The application requires the submission of 2 transcript copies, along with a letter from the registrar. Is this required at the stage of application as well? most colleges accept scanned copies to expedite the application process. Is there any such thing at Krannert?

Hi Bharath,
Krannert will not accept scanned copies. You have to send two official transcripts duly signed and sealed by ur coll or univ registrar. You can get this from ur coll or univ for a fee.

I have heard from friends who have been to Krannert and also by reading the website, that Krannert is good for finance. This along with Experiential learning, project work with team, leadership skills assessment program, case study method as well as good placement record for finance has got me interested in Krannert.
