Hi :)

Dats a verry tuff qn to answer in the sense I dunno the answer even now, as to why I took that decision.

Basically, after my PG, I had no idea of what i really wanted to do, except that I wanted to stay in India forever 😃 !! I gave CAT only because my seniors and my peers said so, not of any burning need to become a manager. Infact, I wouldnt have got thru the 1st CAT at all.

But, when I got thru CAT, since my other options meant I would need to go outside India for atleast a couple of years, so I decided to join IIM-A.

Sounds pretty lame, but dats all thr is to it !

Rght. now I am pursuing finance, and currently am pursuing my summers with JP Morgan, London, and hope to land a PPO with these ppl :).

hii mr. ronjon!!

well nice to read how easy u made ur journey to the mecca of b-schools .....

even nicer to know that uare right now working with some of the best companies in finance ......but can u plz enlighten me about the dichotomy here as far as leaving india ....or rather not leaving india is concerned............since u r working with an mnc based in london ......chances r that u might land up on the same once u complete ur management.......so that would make u leave india ............:)

one more question ......which i have never really figured out .........what makes people who do their bachelors and master from iit's ........and have lot of oppurtunities ......... probably the best oppurtunities in india and abroad join management and that too in a field which was other wise completely unknown to them like finance .......

thats all i guess !!
