i am interested in doing retail..is there any individual exam conducted by kjsom for admission to retail management or cat scores are accepted..

wat was last yr cutoff ....... average salary package ........ also the fees....... does residential course means correspondence course.......how many seats are there for outside maharashtra general candidates

Hi Kruti, I just checked the details of the program on the institute's website. Do you have any ideas as to how many applications you receive for the program? Also, the test is only scheduled in Mumbai as of now. Are the written test and GD/PI held the same day or do we have to come in twice: once for the written test, and then again for GD/PI? Your help is appreciated.

i applied 4 retail course in janaury. but haven't received any confirmation yet.
can u shed some light on this year placement.

and wats the exam date and its structure.

Admission Test: The Institute will use Somaiya Admission Test (SAT) scores
as the first stage of admission process which will be conducted in April 2010,date
for which will be announced subsequently. Short listed candidate will be called
for Written Communication Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview
subsequently. Selection will be based on the aggregate scores obtained by the
candidate in the following parameters; the respective weightages for the
parameters are given below:-
Parameters Weightage
SAT(Somaiya Admission Test) 80 Marks
Group Discussion(GD) 30 Marks
Personal Interview(PI) including relevant work experience 50 Marks
Written Communication Test 15 Marks
Past Academic Record 25 Marks
Total 200 Marks

course is related to all retail management u should have knowledge bt retail,fashion and market.
placements:as per my knowledge they hav nw pantaloons etc

its written that last date for submission of online form is 15th does it mean that the print out of the online form should reach there by 15th april along with the DD rite or you just have to fill the form online by 15th ..plz help

its written in the brochure...rest i don't know...if u come to know anything regarding this post it here....what is the difficulty level of their exam i.e SET
