Guys.. I have a real concern as to how KJ Somaiya is evaluating marks for GD/PI rounds for MH CET MMS...
Even last year there were a lot of posting stating their dissatisfaction with scores from KJ Somaiya.. i really want to know if there is a real large no of ppl with this issue or is it just me... No offense to anyone.. after registering for GD/PI rounds on dte.org.in i was scheduled for GD/PI in kj somaiya!!!
note i am talking abt MMS not PGDM!!!

GD : 13
PI : 6
2010 score :
GD : 15
PI : 5
2009 score (not in KJ Somaiya)
GD : 14

wats goin wrong?? i felt like I had a real good round for both GD and PI.. not expecting this... last year i could not take admissions coz of low score in gd/pi.. but not again...
MOST IMPORTANT : do i stand any chance to challenge this score in grievance rounds in ARC centers??? please reply guys..

I got 11 in gd and 10 in pi... from what I experienced, gd was conducted smoothly but I felt that the pi panelists were not too bothered about conducting the pi properly... was just asked a few questions and I was out in about 5-7 mins...

I don't think buddy, they can do this in grievance. you cannot challenge evaluation..:(
something can be done if many people raise the voice. I mean that's what happened when people raised against domicile..
Sorry to say, but i m deeply disappointed by the way GD/PI is conducted at KJ somaiya, hope DTE, all the college professors and students are listening. U r not only ruining the lives of students but also it impacts the standard of students who r coming to these colleges.
I got 13 in GD n only 10 in PI. It was the best GD i have ever been into, n PI was always my strength. But the Panelists were not interested in listening to me at all, only 4 ques asked n 5 mins of interview. I traveled all the way to mumbai from Chandigarh, spent 15000 in flight for this 5 min time pass. I was expecting jb or syd, n now i won't even get KJ somaiya.
Don't consider it as any hard feelings, but one must provide equal platform to all at GD/PI level as well. Otherwise, getting a good college won't depend on the standard of the student but on the college in which his/her GD/PI is held.

i also totally agree with all the above posts. My PI was done in less than 7-8 mins. how can u judge a person in 7-8 mins?.. ther r ruining the life of the students. if they are not interested in conducting, they y ther r doing it. a mass movement is required against these type of ppl....

buddy u cant do anything, i remember my gd/pi in kj som for IB thru cat, i was feeling disgusted in the pi room, as d panelists were d most arrogant persons, they were damn determined to belittle me, although i had a good gd i never made it. i know ur "dard"...thank god i was not in kj som for my cet gdpi, i got 13 in gd n 14 in pi, centre was a nagpur college.

KJ somaiya actually sucks big time... who have given them right to ruin our life... i missed my chance for JB bcos of them.. gave me jst 11 in GD and 12 in PI.. d other members in my GD were appreciating me for the points i had put forward and in the PI one of the panelists complimented me for my good knowledge of current affairs and GK.... what the hell yaar... i have missed JB by 5 marks... i was expectng min 32 in GD PI and i got just 23.... just bcos of KJ i have lost my golden opportunity.. They really suck big time....

yeah, my PI went for around 4 min. where they only asked me about family background... it was 6:15 PM by that time and i think there was about 10 more to be interviewed so it was very happing ending only to found that they have given me 11 marks in PI, totally nailed me!!
during my PI in 2010 i remember to screwed the whole PI then also i got 12 marks but this time in KJS, i dont know what happend may be they dont like my time of entering when they where having marieGold biscuit with tea... at 6 Pm...:shock:

they do have a serious problem with all aspirants it seems..

i mean onli?? what's wrong with them?? pi wasn't that bad, in fact much better than the one i gave at IIM-A, PGP-ABM last year!

i am another victim of the bizarre processes followed by K J Somaiya for PI... my marks for GD/PI are as follows...
GD : 6
PI : 6
ok.. so i do agree that my GD din go good... i spoke only once during the GD and once while the group was summarizing it.. but even then i believe 6 is a bit too harsh.. and i'm screwed now...
the worst part was PI... lasted for 5 mins.. i was asked 5 questions.. one of them was on my family background... i cudn't answer 2 of the remaining 4 questions asked... again got only 6...
i'm a category student.. initially i had a decent shot at JB with my score.. after my disastrous GD/PI i was disgusted but i still thought that i will make it to sydenham... now after getting such disgusting marks, even to make it to welingkar i'm at the mercy of other chaps above me...
i admit i screwed up... but KJ too helped to provide the icing on the cake....
friends it was not only in K.j. it was also in JBIMS .. just about 4 odd questions ... scored 12 in each

hey frnds even i got 23 outta 34..in gd PI...i had got 131 in written but due to the KJ SOMAYA factor,i only got 158 finally..really disappointed,i had faith in the institution..but now i feel betrayed...
can we all write a letter,one letter....adressed to DTE,with all our names,mh cet id and showing our inconveinence and the cold blooded murder of our dreams by a certain college...can we..its better than just sitting??lets rise ppl and fight
