So what are you waiting for PuYs? All PuYs who are going to be part of PGDM, PGDM(IB) or MMS batch of the reputed institutes this year, pour in your views. Give an introduction of yourself.

MMS batch has a lot of affairs different from the PGDM batch.. I dont think we can answer all the queries here..

Moreover we have been answering all the queries for both courses in different threads.. I dont think starting a new thread will help.. in fact it will lead to more confusion and difficulty in tracking..

Pls use the existing "results out" thread for the discussions

This thread is meant for the 2009-2011 joinees of SIMSR to meet and discuss. This thread is not meant for seniors to address the concerns of the aspirants. It is a humble request to seniors to welcome the joinees in this thread.

Hello speedwheel,

Fab idea to initiate a thread for selected PGDM 09-11 SIMSR students. Had visited the SIMSR campus few weeks ago to pay the tution + hostel fees. Would really appreciate if you could revert with your replies to my below listed queries;

What are the hostel rules? (Brief - curfew timings etc)
Any laundry facilities available?
What is the frequency & timing of the classes (timings + days)?
Is a laptop compulsory? What % of 2008-10 students had laptops?
What is the student dress code?
What does the study material comprise of? How are students taught?

How does one sign up for a committee / activity?
What is the orientation programme all about?
How would you rate the food?!
Any sports facilities available?
Are students randomly assigned to their rooms?
