All -

I would like to address an important message - If you are planning to buy a LAPTOP/DESKTOP for your stay at K.J. immideatly...please delay it for a while. We can meet at the institute and consult the admin/seniors or probably a company/vendor who can provide us with discounts on bulk buying on computers. Please spread this to whosoever is not on PG but in our batch or to those in other courses in K.J. as bigger the order more the DISCOUNT %age.

How many seats out of 60 are already registered for IB course...ne idea???
Can i get phone nos of somaiya...?
i need to pay my fees by 25th but the loan process will still take atleast 3 days...
can i extend the deadline of payment of fees...??

Hi Guys,
i am a 1st Yearstudent of Lal Bahadur shashtri Institute of Management,New Delhi.i got admission offer from Kj Somaiya,IB course.I cannot able to take the decision what should i do??Can u guys suggest me what is right for me.....continuing at LBSIM or Joining KJ Somaiya IB....

The course commencement date is 1st August.....So if u have finalized abt taking admission , I thnk u shud book ur tickets as well......

just to add the direct line to admin 022- 66449307..also u can arrange the 1,10,000 now and once the loan is processed they will pay u back ur 110000 once they receive another draft from the bank...

I think you should better stay at LBS...i would refrain from commenting about comparison between the 2,,,but other consideration is of the fees (i think which is in vicinity of 80000)...but if u are a delhiite and do not mind shifting to mumbai ...ur call buddy

My analysis points as per relevance:

1) Goodwill of institute
2) Fees already paid
3) IB v/s dual specialisation in LBS
4) Relocation

sirji...entirely agree with mR. virgo but the thing that comes before all this is that u r already in ur first year pusrsuing ur mba.... then why do u wanna start all over again.....the choice wud have been relevant at the start...NOT NOW SIRJI......

hi junta,

finaly time has arrived which we all have been waiting for months , for some its been years. one thing i need to appriciate, u guys are realy rocking, the reason being i took the admission but didnt feel anything like overjoyed, excited since i was hoping for some top ten b-scools while preparing for cat.
but now i feel strongly that i made right decision. and thanks to u for that

i stay in bombay only and if anyone from outside bombay needs any help dont hesitate to ask

What a great institute ...that i came to know today...

my loan process was going to take 2 days for which i asked them to extend that date of payment of fees and grant me 2 days..
and the permission was granted to me to pay till 27th

and now i got a mail that seats are fulll and they cant consider my admission.

If the seats were so less then what was the point in extending the deadline
She should have mentinoned it before that the extension is on first come first serve basis..then i cud have paid them by ne means possible by me..

I dunno wot to say but acc. to ur previous post u said tht the last day was 25th....so u still have time to pay........if they are not accepting it tday as well, then its something serious i guess..........

Even if we forget the extended date scenario (of which I thnk u dont have any proof) then also officially as per there email u are to deposit the fee by tday......so u had time tday.......and if they denied to give u admit even though ur DD reached tday, then u cud have followed some legal trajectory......
