Answers from Quo ra site about Ibps po cutoff:
Dear Aspirants,IBPS PO VI Interview call letter is out and interviews will be conducted from February 2017 onwards. This year total vacancy is only 8,822 which is approx. 4000 less than previous year PO recruitment. Around 26 – 28 thousand candidates have been shortlisted for interview round, which means the ratio of vacancies to that of selected candidates for interview is 1:3.Now, there is anxiety in every candidate about their interviews and chances of final selection in the much awaited IBPS PO VI. Here in this article we are sharing with you the Expected final cutoffs, which will provide rough idea about the selection.Firstly, it is important to note that the final selection will be made on the basis of combined marks of candidates obtained in CWE PO VI Mains exam and Interview round. The CWE PO VI Mains written test was of 200 marks whereas, the total marks allotted by IBPS for interview are 100. As per IBPS PO VI official notification, the minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). For the final selection, the weightage given to written and interview are in the ratio of 80:20 respectively.Note:(i) A candidate is required to qualify both in the CWE Mains written test and interview.(ii) She/he must be sufficiently high in the merit, for being eligible for provisional allotment process.(iii) Interview marks of those candidates who fail to secure the minimum qualifying marks or otherwise barred from the interview will not be disclosed . Now, based on our analysis of the exam we are providing the expected cutoffs for final selection. First, we look at the cutoffs of written exams which are as follows –
Important Points:(i) According to the IBPS PO VI notification, IBPS will declare the final result in the month of April 2016.(ii) A reserve list may also come alongside the declaration of the result which will automatically expire on 31.03.2018.(iii) In case two candidates got the same marks in the combined score, then merit order will be decided by Date of Birth.IBPS PO VI expected final Cutoff –As you all know, final cutoff was decided on the combined score of Written Exam & Interview scores with 80:20 which means that CWE scores will be distribute out of 80 and interview scores out of 20. The total of the two scores will be taken for final cutoff. For e.g.-If a candidate has received 80 marks out of 200 in CWE, and 60 marks out of 100 in Interview, their final score will be calculated as follows: [(80/200)*80] + [(60/100)*20] = 32 + 12 = 44Following this same process, we can predict IBPS PO VI final cutoff –IBPS PO VI CWE Cutoff is – 52.50 out of 200, which becomes (52.50 *80)/200 = 21 out of 80.If a candidate who just cleared the cutoff score of IBPS PO VI and manage to get the maximum marks in interview i.e. 90 out of 100, which means 18 out of 20 . By adding written & interview marks = 21 + 18 = 39Thus, overall it becomes 39 out of 100 . So, expected final cutoff will be in the range of (39 – 41) for General Category. Now there are certain conditions which directly impact your final selection, like –i)You have done good in written as well as in interview……. In these circumstances, your chances are very bright.ii)Your written is not very much perfect but you had good interview……In this situation your chances are fair.iii) You have done good in written but interview is just average…….In this case your chances may suffer.Note: Interview procedure forms the most critical part of the selection process. So, prepare well for IBPS PO VI Interview and get the final selection.
