Last year cutoff was 289 out of 345 because 5 questions were deleted, so approx % was 84 % to clear the PT and that time no of vacancy was only 114 and no of candidate who clear the PT was only 5 times , now considering all the above facts and compare it to this time I come to a conclusion that cutoff won't go beyond 225-240 because no of vacancy in this year 1080 if I m not incorrect and the total no of result in PT is 15 times of sheet i.e approx 17000 candidates should be qualify in this exam. So don't be feel upset and one who get above 225 let's fingers crossed.😀😀😀😀

Best post for promotion, 1st promotion after 7-8 i.e section officer, 2nd promotion under secretary after 10-13 years, 3rd promotion deputy secretary after 7-8, 4th additional secretary(very big post to have, but most of the assistants retires at deputy secretary level) after 4-5 years
Best post for female candidates, as it is an all time desk job only and also for security purpose
Best post for ranchi natives , lifetime ranchi posting,no chance of transfer
Highest salary amongst all posts(41k in hand right now, will be 51k after 7th pay implementation)
Job profile: file work only, making drafts, replying rtis, typing letters , mails also, ..you should be very proficient in Microsoft officer as well as internet, Once you become under secretary then you are also responsible for policy framing , this policy framing part is most important for any state/country because it is the backbone of any state/country, If you are smart enough and innovative then you are sure to be very famous and successful, even ias officers will respect you

Now power before under secretary, you will be treated as clerk in the starting years

No extra income other than salary before becoming under secretary, though you can find lots of corrupted clerks/assistants too in the secretariat, but we shouldn't root for this corrupt money as this is an evil for society, state and country ..50k salary is more than enought to have a decent life style

Job profile: incharge ( obviously your boss will be circle officer) of any big circle, deal with any sort of govt lands or lease, full authority to hold or pass, assessment of land revenue in accordance with latest act, make sure that all follows land tenure taxations etc.,Look after money lending and lender too, issue license/certificate...
