:Loot in Chankya IAS Ranchi Vinay Mishra is thag of ranchi The two students, who had filed a complaint against Chanakya IAS Academy for imparting "poor quality" education, She alleged, "Teachers were being changed from time to time. All other students/trainees were also dissatisfied with the coaching. Apart from wastage of Rs 1 lakh on the course, the academy also wasted my one year." In the second case, Aditi Gupta, 27, said she took admission in the academy and made payment of Rs 1.30 lakh through cash both for general studies preliminary-cum-mains and optional subject. The complaint stated the academy wasted her attempt because of non-completion of syllabus on time. The classes for mains examination started after prelims, whereas the complainant was promised prelims-cum-mains syllabus completion before UPSC preliminary examination,. She said many a time she was not informed about the commencement of classes through message or mobile phone. She claimed the way of teaching was very poor. The matter was brought to the notice of academy authorities a number of times through applications, but nothing was done. She alleged the institute had asked her to cover the optional subject from their academy in Delhi, which was not practical as she was suffering from bronchitis. The complaint also stated construction was going on in the institute. Inconvenience was also caused due to power cuts during class hours.

now even board papers are being leaked! poor students will again have to go through the trauma of writing the exam for no fault of theirs. it has become a norm now. be it any exam, instead of targetting wrong doers and corrupt, inefficient officials, poor students and aspirants are treated as sacrificial lambs and made to pay for the wrong deeds of the former. 6th jpsc is a prime testimony to it.
Was there any permanent govt job recruitment done end to end by this Raghubar govt which is nearing 4 years in Dec. By end to end I mean notification se joining. I guess it was only a forest guard level entrance.
I just missed filing my ITR (Income tax returns) last financial year...waise TDS se income tax har mahine jaata hai....1-2 mahine se daily mail aa raha hai IT department ka...kaash Nirav,Choksey,Mallya,Rotmomac...and so many more...losing count...time pe track karte..toh shyd apna fiscal deficit thoda kam rehta.

3 years back jpsc assistant engineer notification also came, but till date form is being filled up. so compared to it, 6th jpsc is light years ahead of its due course. i wonder how there is no anxiety and palpitation even among the aspirants. infact, on the contrary, some of them perform as "cheerleaders " for the incumbent government! the moral compass of the indian youth definitely lies in deep morass, for only immoral beings can tolerate such a sick affair of things
Do you hold Raghubar Das govt responsible for almost nil govt job vacancy filling up in Jharkhand. If the govt had the political will many of these vacancies would have been filled up in record time.

Jpsc ab to jaag jaa yaar...kyu ladko ka jeewan barbaad kar raha..ab tk to 7th pt ka bhi pre ho gya hota..
Friends, please take time to go through this, I have taken time to put it down:
Believe me, it is more economics and less politics J
Trust me, I hated UPA II like anything because of corruption but I am critical of this government as well due to its bad economics and bad politics especially when it has the numbers at all the levels of the government and still not doing enough.I am compelled to educate us with numbers and not Mann ki Baat. Time is a constraint else I would have covered more sectors. Maybe something on Social sectors later.
Pure Economics is what follows now:
Lowlights:
GDP:
During 10 years of UPA, GDP grew at 7.8%.
In January 2015, the government changed the way GDP was being calculated, which helped increase the GDP numbers significantly. Now, India's GDP is measured by taking into account the gross value added (GVA).
Despite the above, India’s GDP growth seen decelerating to 6.5% in 2017-18 from 7.1% in 2016-17.
Employment generation:
This is something close to our hearts.
Modi had promised 1 crore job creation per annum during 2013 election campaigns. We know what is it upto.
Some tend to complement the govt for self employment. Donno why we forget that rarely it is out of choice but mostly out of compulsion. They include cultivators and allied jobs, street vendors, rickshawpullers, carpenters, plumbers, chaiwallahs, grocers, taxi drivers, doctors, lawyers, accountants and pakodawallah. How many of us would want to become one of these (barring doctors, lawyers, accountants). So let us not bask in the glory of self-employment. Most of these do not come under formal sector which should have been the aim of any government.
Demonetization and GST have hugely dented the MSME sector.
Skill India: Of the 30.67 lakh candidates who had been trained or were undergoing training across the country in June 2017, only 2.9 lakh received placement offers. Will update it later with the latest data.
Another one is Mudra loans (up to Rs 10 lakh) which are disbursed for non-agricultural activities, including dairy, poultry and beekeeping. Some critics argue MUDRA is no different from any other micro finance institution. It has its pros (easier finance, huge corpus, entrepreneurs can benefit) and cons (another loan mechanism where the country is already reeling under huge NPAs, loans given out without collateral so think about their repayment).
Average amount sanctioned undr MUDRA (in Rs)
2015-16 2016-17 2017-18
39405 45472 46525
Don’t know how amount under 50k will make one self employed.
There are tall claims by government based on some Skoch (a private think tank) survey saying it has created 5.5 crore jobs. There is no government data yet on this. I am waiting for Labour bureau’s data.
Investment:
The Modi government has not been able to revive private investment.
Gross fixed capital formation (GFCF) indicates investment in the economy. The figures say it has been tepid under the Modi regime.
As per last data I have… As a percent of GDP, The GFCF has seen a decline from a high of 31.4 percent of GDP recorded in the first quarter of 2015-16 to 26.7 percent of GDP in the third quarter of 2016-17.
NPA:
This is the blue-eyed kid for the folks who are not satisfied with the incumbent government.
Gross non-performing assets (NPA) in Indian banks are expected to rise to Rs 9.5 lakh crore by March, from Rs 8 lakh crore in March last year, said an ASSOCHAM-Crisil joint study. Stressed assets in March 2018 are expected to be at Rs 11.5 lakh crore. (If all troubled loans including reported bad loans, restructured assets, written off loans and bad loans that are not yet recognised, former RBI deputy governor KC Chakrabarty says the figure would be around 20 lakh crore)
The Modi government has time and again alleged that NPAs were a legacy issue, putting it at the UPA's door. The below figure says otherwise.
The figure was 2.34 lakh crore in June 2014.
IIP:
Can call this a mix of lowlight and highlight.
From a historical data persepctive: IIP from a high of 11.1 percent consumer durables output in May 2014 to (-) 0.8 percent in March 2017.
The industrial activity under the Modi regime has been largely weak but towards a rise now.
India’s factory output growth increased to a 17-month high in November, partly the effect of a lower year-ago base in the aftermath of demonetisation and retail inflation also quickened to a 17-month high.
Highlights:
Inflation:
In May 2014, the retail inflation stood at 8.33% and it is 5.07% now.
(Decelerating global oil prices was the prime mover for inflation control however Modi govt took strong measures against hoarding…One can read..thank God Pawar is not the Agriculture Minister)
FDI:
Easing out of FDI caps in many sectors.
However, ‘U turn’ on FDI easing in retail trade; Modi had opposed the same vociferously when the UPA was in power.
Based on last data I could gather, FDI inflows jumped to $60 billion in 2016-17 from $36 billion in 2013-14 and is increasing further due to easing of FDI caps and abolition of Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB). However, FDI inflows have to be seen in light of commensurate GDP and employment growth at home. Historical data shows there is no one to one relation since FDI is targeted to a narrow spectrum of business. Something which was rising rises further however, the sectors lagging lag further.
Financial Inclusion:
Jan Dhan Yojana: total no of beneficiaries till 21/03/18 31.38 crores. However to further mobilise these accounts the govt needs to provide sustainable job opportunities.
and DBT (this certainly helped in preventing leakage)
PS: I have presented data to the best of my knowledge to give an insight to develop a critical perspective instead of framing opinions out of symbolism.
Some of you may tend to disgree, which is the beauty of a healthy debate and open thinking.
Sources: CSO data, Eco Survey, some govt sites, various newspapers and news websites (thehindu, indianexpress, firstpost, thewire, etc)
Back from himalaya.... Any update of mains exam?

if there is massive unemployment problem in the country which is increasing in magnitude consistently , it means modi govt has not done the needful in terms of 1)infrastructure creation comprising roads, railways, electricity etc which is the prerequisite for investment 2) ease of doing business is still a distant dream 3) corruption and law and order problem still persist especially in north india like in bihar, up, jharkhand, mp etc which deter investment 4) crony capitalism due to which the government doesn't get required resources which it can use for infrastructure creation etc 5) entrepreneurship initiatives have proved to be non starter etc. there are many other reasons too for low job creation. in nutshell modi government has not done much substantial on ground and is only busy in making tall and misleading claims, and thus it has to now resort to riots for winning the upcoming elections
in the current political scenario, all parties are full of thugs and immoral people. reason is that society itself has seen significant decline in morality and values. these politicians too are part of the society, and thus they are also rotten. likewise every profession be it civil services, doctors, businessmen etc is marred with the same problem. but at the end of the day we have to choose political parties which are the least evil. my vote goes to congress. congress in upa 1 did a fairly good jpb when u compare it with upa 2 and the present nda govt. bjp is disastrous for the country, now any sane person would have realised that mainly due to communalism, its exclusive nature which doesn't take along all castes, crony capitalism, modi and shah criminal pair etc. third front, fourth front etc are also very problematic as full of self serving individuals, lack of vision, will promote casteism, unstable etc. so congress with aid of regional parties forming the next govt under the leadership of rahul gandhi is the best that can happen to india in current scenario
