Jobs for MBA Pass out students -

Hi Puys,

I am writing in because i have a serious matter to discuss. i am in a huge dilemma and can not find anyone to help me. Here goes: I am a btech graduate in C.S. from UPTU with 65% and then i completed my MBA in IT from Symbiosis(SICSR) this year. We have our last sem as a on field training so i managed to secure an internship cum placement offer in a company in Bombay. I left that job after 8 months of completion i.e completing my internship and 2 months of job. They offered me a work from home profile which had no learning curve and was frustrating.

I am interested in Business Analyst profile of Business Intelligence profile. However, for an analyst, everyone requires exp which only i can show of 8 months.

My concern is that if i move to some other profile, in future will i be getting the same profile i.e as BA???

If so what kind of other profiles i can go in???

HELP

As an educator for 30 years, I've worked for several schools in California. Working for these top colleges in California was quite an enjoyable experience, as I got to meet a lot of really nice educators and students. The students were also quite serious about their studies, and they were very easy to work with. Check out http://www.nhu.edu/ for more information about National Hispanic University.

Hi,

I want to go MBA Marketing and work in the Marketing field for rest of my life, currently I have 2.10 Yrs Exp in the field of IT as a Software Engineer. After completing engineering, I was without job for 2 Yrs and later joined a Software job, this is the biggest mistake I did. I never liked Software and now I CANNOT continue in this field any more, I want to switch the domain and work in Marketing, I like FMCG business. I never ever want to work in IT even if it is a marketing job.

1.) Please some one tell me which is the best college for me to do MBA Marketing in India.

2.) If I do MBA Marketing, what will be the possibility to get a Marketing job in FMCG industry (No IT industry), as I already have 2.10Yrs exp and by next year it will be 3+Yrs can when I get MBA admission next year, will it be hard for recruiter even to consider me for Marketing job in any filed other than IT.

My Profile:

----------------

Edu Qualification:- BE(ECE)

Year of Pass- 2009

Years of Exp- 2.10 Yrs

Industry- IT

Role-Software Engineer

Domain -Software Performance Testing

Thanks in Advance

There are lots of Job Opportunities.

Here, you can find jobs after your mba, b.tech:

I've done my Engineering in Industrial Engineering, I've IT experience of 4 years, I am joining a B-school and plan to specialize in Finance. Is it true that I might not even make the initial cut for the various BFSI companies during placements because of my "irrelevant" profile?

MBA vs MTech

For several BTech graduates planning to pursue higher education , it is primarily a choice between Master of business administration (MBA) and Master of technology (MTech) programmes. While both qualifications offer good placements and a stable career, the decision should be a well-calculated one.

While both these career options are stable and rewarding, current trends indicate that students prefer MBA over MTech. Besides opening various employment avenues across industries, an MBA degree gives students a chance to build a promising foundation for their career. The difficulty level and rigour associated with an MTech degree also adds to the popularity of MBA in the student community.
