Do you really think atleast this time Jharkhand public service commission(JPSC) will conduct the exam in a fair manner?

As there are less questions in a given time so the chances are there that the questions may be a bit lenghty mainly mental ability and reasoning part.

what you say friends???

The notification for the exam has been gien in the website www.jssc.in

@surya003 any idea how many correct questions clears the first step??
@bab111 around 80 questions is enough to clear the 1st prelim

120 questions in 2 hours means the quality of questions might be bitter

i mean it must be tough

Finally exam was over on 30 th september

paper was a bit easy than expected , although cut off may raise to 80 + as level of paper was easy

stay tuned for latest solved paper on this site for sachivalay exam held on 30 september 2012

Nearly 1,60,000 candidates appeared for the first examination conducted by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) to choose secretariat assistants, stenographers and clerks on Sunday.
A total of 2,01,469 candidates from across the state had filled up application forms and nearly 80 per cent took the exam at 392 centres. As many 1,332 posts of secretariat assistants, 372 clerks and 383 stenographers are up for grabs.
Examinees said the paper was a mix of easy and difficult questions, most of which were on Jharkhand, its forests, tribes et al. “As this was the first JSSC examination, we did not have any idea about the type of questions,” said Santoshini Kumari of Ranchi.
Some candidates found the maths, science and computer questions a bit difficult. One had to answer 120 questions. A right answer will fetch 3 marks while a wrong one means negative marking of 1. The paper was of two hours. Results will be out on November 12.
On Saturday, there were rumours of paper leak in Santhal Pargana. But the commission got the allegations verified and found that they were untrue. At JJ College in Koderma's Jhumri Telaiya, some candidates reportedly tore question papers, saying there were discrepancies.
“The examination took place in a peaceful environment. Question papers reached all centres on time. Even at JJ College of Jhumri Telaiya, everything was fine except that some students created scenes for no reason,” said an official of JSSC.
JSSC chairperson C.R. Sahay also said that the examination was conducted smoothly. “The results will be announced on November 12,”
