In this era where “Entrepreneurship” is the buzz-word, one initiative which has been traditionally attracting and nurturing budding-young-talents, is Bizorion, the flagship entrepreneurship development convention of Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Mumbai.
Bizorion, in its second edition this year, thrives to be the promising amalgamation of Innovation, Academia and Technology, enthusiastically incubated by leading mentors for Enterprise Building; offering an one-off opportunity for the participant to translate his Idea into an Enterprise.
The convention, which kick-started on 25th January, 2014, with 50+ teams, had 26 teams shortlisted at the end of Phase-1. “It was indeed inspiring to evaluate the business plans encompassing contemplative topics related to social entrepreneurship, environmental conservation, technology for betterment of lives of commoners, to name a few” said Prof. Chhaya Sehgal, the core mentor of Bizorion.
Moreover, the phase-2 of Bizorion shall comprise of the two-day Enterprise building camp, which will include mentoring by the leading faculty and the experts from the different facets of Business viz. Marketing, Finance, Law, to name a few.
The event will finally culminate on 9th March, 2014, at the World Trade Centre, to showcase the best sustainable business idea accompanied with a thoroughly developed B-Plan under the mentor-ship of our highly experienced panel of mentors. The event shall be presided by stalwarts from the industry and shall have the footfall of 400+ professionals and students
It is a unique initiative of the students of Part-Time Master's Degree Programme, in strategic collaboration with Entrepreneurship-Cell of M.M.S. students.
Timeline:
a) Phase 1: 25th January – Preliminary interview at JBIMS
b) Phase 2: 22nd to 23rd February – Enterprise Building Camp at JBIMS
c) Phase 3: 9th March – Grand Finale at World Trade Centre
