Hello KM's. I am also a KM.

But was not able to give CET.
I managed to convert some symby colleges thru Km . Have already taken admission into SITM.

Its very difficult to say.. as we have only 1 seat per college... but I think getting into top 20 will be a bit difficult...

Guys,

When I was filling my CET form. I selected my Category as Kashmiri Migrant.. After that I was asked whether I want to apply as OMS as well.. So I seleted "Yes".. Anyone else did the same?? :sneaky:

Does this mean we can apply through both OMS and KM category?? 😃

Yes. We are eligible through both categories. But in OMS , since there are only 18 seats All India, the cutoff would be 99.90 + for JBIMS and slightly less for Sydenham

So the only chance is through KM.

yes correct... but that means more options for us... you never know how many KM bros will be in front of you ... ek bhi hua toh JB gaya...
someone from jb told me that i stand a good chance of getting into sydhnum with 99.59... bt 2 KMs bhi aage hue toh sydhenum gaya... plus there are many rounds if we apply through oms.... bt even if a KM leaves a seat after taking it, its not given to anyone... :(

Just to be 100% clear, Iron Fist, does this mean.. I can attend cap rounds as well as our councelling??? 😃

Yes! That risk is always there. I see another KM with 119 something who has replied above. So it becomes a close call between you two. If there are anymore in that range, it becomes tougher.
From what I have been told, last year the difference between the two KMs getting JB n SYD was of one mark.

Yes you can attend CAP rounds as well. But keep in mind that there are 18 All India Seats and a OMS with 99.90 will have 80 people ahead of him.
You can see the chances are extremely slim.
