hiiii abhi,
its getting hard to know about isme bangalore.
2 years ago there were some mixed reactions about this college.
even i have applied for the same institute n my interview will b held in next month.
so plz post if u get info about this college.
n what did they focus in selection procedure?

:banghead:hello seniors...
please tell me about this college as almost nothing is on the website.
1-what is the avg & lowest placement?
2-how many companies visited for final placement(not for visiting or summer intern)?
3-how many got highest placement?
4-in a poster launched by isme ,i got that from e-mail headed as "want to be isme alumni" many reputed companies names were given, were they recurited on campus or student grab that some time later?
5-normally what range of placement companies visited?
thanks in advance.

my friends...
although in this site we are not allowed to blame any college but it is only for help.......

i have done a good 10 days research(as i was free these days & got admission in isme)..the truth of this college is...
please don't take admission in this..
1-it is non-aicte(you will think that even iim, xlri are not aicte..but friends if you are going to take in mat collegs i.e they are average collegs...so you need aicte..it is the best..also don.t take for distance learning or ugc..try to get aicte so that no problem further......
2-it is 18 month pgdm(pgpm) not of 2 years..think about it if you understand the true meaning of 2 years pgdm...which is nabet accredited & nabet accredit only those course that are under 2 years not even 2 years...understand..?
3-even colleges is not able to give the exact placement scene..they give a round answer...i accept placement is o.k.(but keep mind the above points also...)
4-seniors are not helpful....giving the exact scene of placement & etc..that present the wrong environment....

there are many points but the main points i have written........only for sake that..it will help those students who are average so that they may not take false decicions & are not able to get the right point about these colleges.........for proof......write an e-mail to the director of nabet regarding the accredit........you will exactly thank me.........:)

I have earlier posted on some other thread of ISME. Being an ISME Alumni, I have over the past tried to explain on this forum and have interacted with a number of prospective students. So is the case with my other friends. Most of us continue to do so as we have been very appreciative of the efforts of ISME. I must admit that we my be busy with work and may not have answered in time, but we always try our best to communicate with the students. My experience first as a student of ISME and now as an Alumni, has been very positive. ISME deserves a much higher level of visibility and recognition as it has a strong academic program that is highly industry applied. In the last 3-4 years, I have seen a number of repeat companies at ISME and also see a number of new companies being added. Some of the regulars that are there at ISME include Symphony, Unilever, Empower, Thompson Reuters, Naukri, 99Acres, Flipcart, Neilsen..... Deutsche, American Express, India Bulls...... This in my opinion, reflects on the strong academic program with courses like Six Sigma, Uni of Alabama and CMU game and the way the entire program is structured. It gave me an opportunity to e placed much ahead of my other colleagues in other schools. I also remember fondly the faculty that come with a strong academic and industry background. The genesis of the school is to be have curriculum that is industry applied, helping in placements and opportunity, which is reflective of the NABET accreditation, a body under QCI, Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

I would again repeat that I am very happy being an alumni of ISME.

which campus is better........................... mumbai or bangalore

is ISME is AICTE certified

which campus is better .................... mumbai or bangalore??????????

no isme is not aicte approved........it's 18 month program(not 24 as aicte approved colleges have) accredited to nabet....it's up to you to choose or not........vaise.......it's a good college to choose but after done mba from here you will not be able to sit in mostly govt.jobs(except some)..if you have decided to go in the private sector join it..otherwise go to any aicte affiliated college...

Both campus are goods, however Bangalore is a older campus. Both the campuses follow the same program in all aspects - similar kind of faulty and placements.

ISME is certainly a good college with very strong academic and placements. Some of the names that recruit ISME students include: AC Neilsen, IMRB, Empower, Avalon, Deutsche Bank, American Express, Uniliver, Thompson Reuters......
