Hello there,

I am a Canadian citizen (of Indian origin) working for a very reputable company in the realm of IT. My salary is $72,400, and it has been just over 3 years since I have graduated from university. I am selectively applying for MBA programs at the top B-schools. ISB has also caught my attention. However, when I look at the figure of salary for graduating students, it seems impressive that the average international CTC is $144,000 and average domestic CTC is approximately 20,00,000 Rs.

My questions here are as follows:
- The salary mentioned is CTC. What is the average net salary received?
- For someone coming into ISB with a 4 year experience and approximately $75,000 in salary (CTC would be approximately $95,000), what could be the monetary expectation beyond graduation from ISB? I know this is a hard question, but some sort of an expectation would be helpful.
- A few extremely high salaries can easily skew the numbers that are listed on the website. What would be the profile of the students who have received salaries in the upper 10% of the graduating class? How much average work experience did they have and how well did they do in school to get the lucrative offers?
- Why should I choose ISB over other top B-schools?

Getting an MBA from a top school in India will be exciting and challenging. However, I would like to be sure of the opportunities available to an ISB grad with former education and experiences in Canada before applying.

Any help here would be highly appreciated.
