I could see that everyone is quite tensed about the results expected quite soon. But it would be also great if u could ans this question of mine . What are R1 and R2 admits? What is the difference ? If I aim for an admit with some sort of funding should it be R1 or R2? What kind of a profile usually gets an admit along with funding?
P.S I am aiming for ISB next year . Thanks

All the best to everyone awaiting results. Typically the results begin with admits, then the waitlists and finally the rejections. Results are expected once the office opens 15th morning and may extend upto two days (until rejection mails have gone out). Of-course, every year schedule may be slightly different, nonetheless keep yourself tied to your seats.
Always remember that you have worked hard for your application and whatever result awaits you, take it in best spirit. You are bigger than you think and stronger than what others say. Your need for external validation might be highest tomorrow but remember you know yourself better than others. All the best and may the best be in store for you.
is a family business, that too a MSME in the manufacturing field prefered while applying at PGP Course at ISB?? is this experience counted in the work ex?

I am not an active member on this forum, but wanna give my 2 cents experience to everyone waiting for results today. I have also given my ISB interview and eagerly waiting for result.
1) After tremendous discussions with alums, coaches etc, I understood that people who were invited for interview gave their best shot and now it's not at all in their hands to predict the result
2) In case result doesn't end up being in your favor, don't forget even Sachin Tendulkar during his peek was given Shoulder Before Wicket.
3) Don't forget ISB is just a medium we all believed will help us achieve our goals. By hook or by crook we will achieve that goal with hardwork and passion. And by that I mean with ISB or without ISB.
4) Last but not the least, all the very best to all of us, who have put blood and sweat to get in this prestigious college. Let's hope deserving candidates are not put on hold and may the best get the admit.

hey i had developed a blood bank system with my friends in college and there was a blood donation camp in which i asked the people registered in my blood bank to go and donate blood and more than 100 people donated blood due to the efforts of my team... there is no certificate for any of this? can any one confirm confirm how ISB adcom will evaluate this were I to mention this in my profile?

If this 5pm/6pm update is final, then they must have prepared the final list and would now be working on what campus to allot to which student. Just saying..
