Q2: About favourite director (Next couple of questions about his movies)

Q3: Sports and stuff (About chess, mentioned in application, various types of chess openings)

Q4: Serious stuff now, challenges in work place mainly teamwork ones

Q5: E-comm similarity with oil industry ops (mentioned in the pplication,i wanted to make a switch)

Suggestions on new features that can be implemented in e-comm logistics

Q6: Case study question (How will you fix a price on a new metro from airport to gawchibowli)

(I considered various factors and came up with a suggestion which they appreciated right there!!)

Q7: Conflict mangement and teamwork scenario experiences

Q8: How will your peers/bosses and subordinates rate you?

Q9: Bouncers, now If you have to fire a guy how will you do it?

Q10: If your most hated politician accuses you of forging your recommendation How will you deal with it?

Finally asked about novels mentioned in my hobby


The whole interview was about 50 min. The atmosphere pretty relaxed. But my advise would be to be on your guard ALWAYS. THEY ARE ALWAYS JUDGING YOU albeit in a friendly way

Called isb today.. they said they still have applications left to assess for Delhi applicants. Interviews will be held over Skype and in Hyderabad otherwise we will know rejection by November end. So, those who have status as completed.. still there is hope :)

Is ISB planning to push the results date, or would the interviews be conducted over weekdays? I have not seen any calls coming out since the last 3 days. And I just read that Mohali will not host the interviews this weekend because of the placements. This is very confusing and the wait is really excruciating.

Finally received the date for my interview at Mohali: 30th Nov. Mail received today afternoon.

Those who believe in themselves are still sanguine of getting an interview call, at least; Even I am in the same boat. However, it's 23rd and now i'm really freaking out. It's better to start looking for options abroad as this clouid doesn't seem to have a silver lining.

How much weightage is given by ISB to the interviews while selecting a candidate w.r.t the overall application.   @ISB.Admissions @ISBmantra.com @ISBeacon 

I had my interview in mumbai. Although it was good and I answered all questions convincingly......I wouldn't say it was exceptional or outstanding. I am really anxious and want to have a realistic picture of my chances of being selected.

All interview invites have been sent . For those who haven't received any calls till date ,  don't expect anymore . Just called adcom today at 3 pm , got this message .

For the ones who could make it to Interview, don’t get disheartened. You still have time to apply for other alternate options like NUS, NTU Singapore, SP Jain etc. Doing MBA from some of the best B schools of Asia will not only give you diverse learning but will also open your gates to Singapore and Asia. All the best.

Hey can some one tell me the avg placement scene with ISB with details of min and max placement value I have heard median placement is 15 lakh and on the site it is mentioned 22 lakh
