Hi All, I am aspiring for ISB 2017-18 session. My 10th/12th scores have been 90.4/74.2 respectively. Computer science Engineering (80%) from PTU. Was working with an IT major as a consultant (pre salea, delivery, business analysis) for 4.5 years and recently moved to an renowned international consulting firm. Have a good background with extra and co curricular activities. Previous GMAT score was 640. Planning to give again. Can anyone please analyse my current profile and help me with GMAT preparation this time? TIA

2.3 years in an IT firm where I was involved in building a significant product. Currently I am working in a startup as Product Developer/ Product Owner of an entire B2B product where I lead the development as well as management.
My primary goal for an ISB MBA would be to go full time into Product Management (of Technology Products ) by taking up relevant courses in consumer behaviour, marketing and others. I consider myself a generalist. Although I have lot of interests and hobbies there is nothing commendable about it IMO. I cannot focus on improving my extra curricular activities as my current job demands 60-70 hours of my time a week. I only plan to apply for ISB this year, preferably in round 1 so that I have enough time to improve my profile for the next year if I cannot make it

X: 91% (CBSE), 12 - 71% (CBSE), B.Tech - 83.3 from VIT University.
Work Ex: 40 months as Scientific Officer in Dept of Atomic Energy, Govt of India. Work profile include operation, design and development, commissioning of critical plants as well as direct involvement in production activities of strategic metals. Also obtained an additional M.Tech degree as a part Dept training program. Got couple of awards and twice received outstanding grading from the department.
Previous work Ex: 14 months in R&D services sector in the role of member technical staff.
Few other achievements at grad level. Extracurricular is on the weaker side.
Gmat Score: 720 and thinking about retaking it.
