I don't know if this tip would help you.. Though i have benefited from this tip personally..
my first gmat score was 660 q50 v 29 and second one(latest) is 700 q49 v35
First i joined egmat verbal course - they lay down the basics well.
Even after finishing the course unfortunately i was landing in v30 in mocks.. There was something i was missing even after improving my verbal skills with the help of egmat. I realized the way how the official gmat scores in the verbal section. it takes average of three sections and creates combined results..
for example if you have 30 in reading comprehension 42 in cr and 42 in sc.. then the total verbal score would be v38..
I realized i was weak in rc and spent lot of time in rc so my other sections also got screwed.. Strategy - i decided to run through rc as quickly as possible and to do each and every cr and sc question carefully (each one of them no matter how difficult). with this strategy i was able to complete section on time and even get v42 in mocks..
Statergy is to maximize on strengths.
in my real exam i had 30 rc 42 cr and 33 sc scoring v35 .. i didn't perform well in sc as expected.
Hope my strategy may help atleast some people struggling with GMAT verbal.
If not admitted... We, the frustrated lot, now even can't keep telling ourselves that "It's fine, Leonardo DiCaprio doesn't have an Oscar, so that makes it okay." Damn u Leo.. :p
R1 results came on two days. 15th- PGP and 16th- EEO candidates.
Now, 6th is a sunday so it's not likely that they will publish a result on that day. Going by that logic, there are high chances of PGP results tomorrow itself.
To any chartered accountant or anyone with a professional qualification. can you view your qualification under education in the completed application pdfs which you can download from you online portal. I just checked my completed application pdf and it doesn't mention my professional qualification anywhere. The documents I had attached are there but no mention in the form. Just wondering if it got missed.
Every time I see Inbox (1) in my gmail tab, my heart starts pounding louder. But when I go to that tab, it turns out to be an email by some Anjali or Priya offering me loans or credit cards or Jabong offering shoes at 60% discount :/
I seem to have, verry sillily, forgotten my password to the application portal and when i go for 'forget password' tab, a window opens that says '1'. and nothing else. Can anyone tell how to reset the password? Thanks in advance
The results are crawling in people! Saw an FB post by someone about getting in. It was some acquaintance on my friend's friend list so can't really verify if he was an R2 candidate or R1 waitlist. But brace yourselves. It's coming 😃
