1) financial situation
2) seriousness of purpose
3) personality

That said, I think most people should be wary of doing an MBA from New Zealand. It's not worth the money - you could join St.Joseph's for an MBA and derice the same value.

Best place to start would be to interact with the school you are targetting. Get contacts or email ids of Indians doing MBA over there. lot of the data is available on school's website.
