Does it make sense join ( Scale ) leaving ( scale 2 ) with following disadvantage -
- only sales oriented work, no advances
- only 10 % urban branches
- no staff loans and staff benefits
- uncertainity about payment banks future.

It doesn't make sense to join IPPB to those who r still in dilema becoz Nonsense like us wants to join it so please step aside and give us way and earn respect
Have IPPB scale 1 interview on 17th of this month in hyderabad and have LPT for NIACL in vizag on the same date and same time. m CONFUSED...what to do?
Its better to stick with our own bank rather than IPPB abhi abhi to probation katta tha firse probation apart from that no home loan benefits plus 2 lakh bond and as a new player in banking domain multiple location posting is for sure. zindagi ko dhakka de de k chali ab phirse dhake pe ni lana.
I think those who are unemployed or a pvt player should join else leave it.

People who are working in PSB (other than clerks) or who have been allotted PSB this year, i think it will not be a wise decision to go for IPPB. Reasons are obvious; less benefits, transfer at farther distance, Less branches, uncertainty over it's future.

why should you give interview of ippb?
1. it is govt job, 100 % GOI equity.
2. it is new bank, i wanna be in the first batch.
3. i like villages and interacting with farmers
4. i hate npa.
5. i don't have a job.
6. just like that, I want to add another feather to my winning cap.
why shouldn't you appear for interview?
1. I have a psb job with experience and I'm near to a pay hike and promotion.
2. No assurance of pay hike in ippb as its business is limited.
3. I want to prepare for rbi.
4. I'm a good samaritan, will pay way for unemployed needy folks.
5. 2 lakh Bond in ippb is ridiculous.

just now received mail of interview intimation on 20th June for Scale 3 Sr Manager in Civil Line,delhi at 12AM, now ready to take off from Lucknow on 19th .....still call letter download option not active ,hope few selected have got mail as well today
ippb is govt or pvt sector,why they are asking bond of amount 2 lakh....
What i think...it is not worthy to join IPPB for PSU guys specially scale 2 or 3 because..It is not governed by any statue..It can be winded or tweaked very easily....Second it does not have security of a Govt Bank and it can fire you anytime it want..Though it may come into judicial review under Article 211 but still its service policy is not governed by legislature..Though it will offer allowances at par with PSBs but Job security is an issu..For Private Bankers it may be a good option given their high pressure low security jobs but for PSB guys..think twice
