@arayan007 if u are good at maths basics means u can opt for self preparation,bt u shuld enroll for test series like time or some other institute's series,it will be helpful in preparing ur strategy forthe D day. if u are not good at math means u shuld better go to classes,
@RU better u concentrate in the engg dude, give a try in cat 2014 with little preperation and analyse ur strenghts and weeknesses .After that join a coachin institute if u feel that u need professional guidance,otherwise u can prepare urself using tha abundance resoursces available in the internet .
@seraphic100 As amit has pointed out,you might not be able to sit for CAT. XAT is the only other exam for tier 1 college(XLRI JAMPOT) that you can try but if you get through XAT,then you will have to defend fiercely for your Marks in your graduation.If you are from tier 1 instis like IIT,NIT or BITS then they might admit you but if from a tier2 insti then better be prepared for a solid reason for the bad marks in your grad!!

@PGN i am from tier2 insti n for snap i don't think ki its possible coz snap test has a basic requirement of 50 percent..............

Hello Everyone!! I am Nitya and am planning to kick start my GMAT preparation in the next few months. Have thought about giving the exam in the past as well, but have not been able to dedicatedly work on it.

@hrsj jbims but it selects only top 30 or 40 students. 99.86 is the cut off percentile,great lakes is gud fr pgpm ,pgdm is started a year ago,so there is no much info abt it.Imt nagpur and hyd accepts cmat scores
what about wellingkar college at mumbai and bengalaru? what are their and imt nagpurs expected cutoff?
@hrsj u r going to do mba once ,so try to do it in some of the premier institutes like top30or40 bschools,wellingkar doesn't comes in top 30,there is no harm in trying cat 2013
