I have had an exponential decay as far as my studies are concerned. Scored 74.9% in 10th followed by 65.0% in 12th and 54.1% in BSc. I know this highly brings down my chances of getting into top colleges, but I am sincerely looking forward to prove myself that with a little sincerity I will be able to turn around the tables.
I am not planning to join any classes as I always end up making friends & doing a lot of tp. So planning to study on my own and appear for some mocks.
I have been good with maths, not excellent, and have a decent logical thinking ability.
I am working since Aug 2007 as clinical research professional and want to change my field or do something different in my field.
Hope to receive some good ideas and feedback from seniors & colleagues and direction towards the path to walk on for success.

I am Rajeev Agarwal, father of a son, looking for MBA options available, other than the top-notch IIMs, XLRI and the likes. With lot of new MBA courses on offer it is difficult to make the right choice as it is question of a person's future and it is even more difficult when that person happens to be your son!
Please inform how is the PGDM course offered by Shanti Business School. How does it comapre with MBA. Should I go for this course for my son after he completes BBA or should I stay with regular MBAs. - Rajeev Agarwal, Jhansi(UP).

Haven't heard anything about this Shanti Business School before, the website shows that its first batch started this year only so it will be a huge gamble to join this b-school. My advice is to go for some other b-school, there are plenty of good one's in india.
As per pgdm and mba goes, pgdm is equivalent to mba in india. The slight difference is that Mba is a two year pg degree offered by the Indian universities only while the pgdm is a two year diploma course offered by autonomous institutes.

I am an engineering student in his 4th year at BITS, Pilani and currently pursuing an internship at the eBay India Development Centre in Chennai.
I certainly want to do an MBA, but maybe not right away. Nonetheless, I am giving CAT this year anyways so as to have an extra option.
The forums here so far have been excellent. I hope there's a great deal to be learnt.

Needless to say, first time that I saw it: I looked the word up.. and even with its negative connotation: I quite liked the word, its spelling and the self-depreciating honesty associated with it.
