I am J.S.N.HEMANTH from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. I have just completed my B.Tech in Industrial and Production Engineering with 84 percentage(2012 passout). I have secured 93.33 % in SSC and 96.30 % in HSC. I secured 83.37 percentile in CAT 2011 and 74 marks in SNAP 2011. I have a job offer of IGATE in my hand. I got admission in Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management(SIOM) , Nashik. Can anyone tell me how are the placements of SIOM?? Also I always wanted to do MBA from top B-schools like IIM's , S.P.JAIN,MDI etc.. Now I am planning to go for job,work for sometime and in the meanwhile prepare for CAT once again and get a good percentile but the problem is I didn't receive my call letter from IGATE and there is news that IGATE DOJ's may be in Dec 2012 or Jan 2013(this is only assumption but not fact). I am also awaiting the results of WELINGKAR Mumbai and N.L.Dalmia Mumbai. What do u guys suggest?? Go for MBA in these colleges or gain some work-ex and once again appear for CAT??

With ur kind of academics, ull surely get a call from the biggies, provided u score well in the exams. As you hv a extended DOJ so i would suggest u to concentrate on CAT and also develop your ECAs. U can also do some short time course, join some NGO along with preps to sharpen ur overall profile.

I'm Srividhya. I completed my B.Com in Accounting and Finance in 2011 from MOP Vaishnav College. I am working for KPMG, Chennai in Tax division for 1 year.
I'm looking forward to take MBA in 2013 by getting a good score thru GMAT. I ve many queries relating the GMAT exam and Indian B-Schools admissions which accept GMAT. Btw will B.Schools be flexible if work.exp is 22 months and not exact 2 years..?? Could anyone help me out and guide me with many experts advise.
And if anyone from Chennai is preparing for GMAT for 2013 intake, pls help me out with good GMAT tutorial classes in Chennai or self study materials..
