In my view, the best option would be to go for 1 year executive MBA from ISB, IIMs, XLRI etc. You will not only learn business but also make a good network of people who can be very helpful in future. After all, all businesses need human resources.

I am here to get some good piece of advice.
I did my Engineering in 2007 and post that I started with a venture, HR Consultancy, at my own. Now it is well stablised and we have a descent team and pool of good clients, who are worlds leareds in banks, finance, Invetment Banking. Here I can take a break for an year or two.
I am interested in doing some course/ Master in Finace/Economics/Applied Mathematics and Finance/Analytics. I love to play with number and I am good at it.
Please advice me a good course for an year or two, part or full time, in India or overseas.

There is no substitute for practice. Classes won't help if you do not practice. Find methods that work faster. They are not checking your knowledge but logical and creative mind. Work regularly and systematically. There is just enough time. So start quickly and do not procrastinate.

very confused if i should actually try for top 10 B-SCHOOLS..

b.e- 65 % 😞 any light of hope on my B.E % and getting calls from top B'S ?? or should i stop dreaming?

Hi everyone, I am Nitish, I am a student at NIT Durgapur and have just completed my 2nd year. I am aiming to get admitted into a good B-School and I am utterly confused about how is it that i go about it. My co-curriculars aren't really strong in the conventional way but I am working at it. After all the research i have done on the internet, it seems there's no point preparing for the CAT without a decent managerial work experience tag at hand, that if i manage to get clear the CAT. Naturally I have lost my peace of mind because i had intended to begin my preparations once my vacations got over.

First of all welcome to pagalguy.
U are now in 2nd year only. You have sufficient time to grow ur extra curricular....If u would like to know the opportunity.....I can suggest you to take part in sports, quizzes in your inst., also you may take the opportunity to attend the techno fest at IIT Kgp. I guess, its 4-5 hours to reach there....Infact NIT durgapur techno fest is a good opportunity for u.....
Who said that you reequire managerial work ex tag...Well I've seen in the past that most of the freshers in IIMs bag top salary in domestic & international placement.....
Getting good score is extremely important, if you are planning MBA in India.....So don't just stop your prep by looking on website....Go ahead with your prep.....U'll succeed. 😃
