Hi Guys,
I am Feroz working in CTS as Senior Test Analyst. My Total Work Experience is close to around 7 years

Since my Engineering days I wanted to bell the CAT but could not able to put much effort or may be lack of confidence landed me to the testing jobs.

I have appeared for the CAT 2 times and both the time with no much preparation and scored 72 and 34 percentile respectively which I am not ashamed to put in forum .

I knew about this PagalGuy.com from long back but din get any chance to register myself or perhaps not much interested. But after goint through various success stories and passion among you guys i felt my lost passion about CAT.

Would be highly obliged if I can convince myself through pagal Guy that I can still crack CAT after scoring such a low percentile

Thanks
Feroz

Hi Shefali,

I have gone through your post and and understand that you are getting lot of calls from bangalore colleges. But believe me none of the colleges are worth taking admission and I can say this I am staying in bangalore from past 8 years.Only IIM -B is the good MBA college and moreover Banglaore is a IT hub and not Financial hub which means you will get good Engineering Colleges in Bangalore but not MBA Colleges.

I would still want you to revisit your decision and try to opt for atleast good college which can give u ur roi.If possible you can prepare and appear for entrance exam again this year...see doin MBA is quite easy but from Good College is more important and thts not so easy

Feroz

Hi I am an MBA in Oil and Gas.

I have been working the field of market research, business analysis and manarement cosnulting for the last 3 .5 years.

Though I had studied finance while pursuing MBA degree I never really got an opportunity to work on finance related projects. And I feel due to lack of application opportunities I now hardly remember anything.

I want to understand whether NSE certified financial modeeling course would be relevant course for somebody who is intrested in working with big consulting firms such as PWC, Deloitte, etc in energy domain.

CAT study materials u can definitely buy them.better get it from some coaching institute along with it,they will offer some 10-15 mockcat series.complete the basic study material with in 1-2 months.regularly read newspapers and good magazines, eg the hindu, frontline.business today, the economics time as well get a year book preferably CSR or manorama. also brush up your english grammar.after getting thorough with the basics you can start solving original cat papers get the feel of it. analyze each and every mock cat.No need for attending coaching classes, as its you who have to develop the knack of solving cat type problems.no one else can do that for you. not even a good mentor.
